"Honestly I have been bringing my 3 kids here for over 10 years and I knew the level of care shifted in current years but I did not realize just how bad until recently. I took my oldest son to see Dr. Ari due to him having issues with his tonsils for the 9th time in 11 months as well as having strep 6 times already this year. My son’s quality of life has been heavily affected as he is a 17 year old athlete. He has been in so much pain he can’t eat sometimes. This Dr blew my son off and said “Take Flonase and Aleve.” She put it off to allergies and my son has never had allergies. My son had to literally ASK her to look at his throat which looks awful. I conveyed my concerns and she dismissed them and even told us he did not need his tonsils out unless he has strep “10 to 12 times in a year.” Today we saw an ENT surgeon and he said he has a horrible infection and needs his tonsils removed immediately. He was stunned when I told him we saw his pediatrician and she didn't prescribe any antibiotics. He also said my son could have “never had strep and he would still need his tonsils out.” I have trusted TCPA for so long but I will not go back to this Dr. My son needs surgery and Dr. Ari couldn’t even be bothered to listen to us or prescribe the correct medication. We are switching to Dr. Hassle who has always been our favorite physician there. Hopefully it works out."

"I used this practice for my kids from birth-10 yrs until we moved. During that time, I thought it was fine. They were easy to get appointments with, easy to deal with. Handled basic illnesses just fine. So why the 2 star review? If you suspect your child has any actual issues, do NOT expect anyone here to properly investigate and diagnose the problem. Get a second opinion in a completely different practice. I am so upset right now because my child was just diagnosed with something they should have caught. He was having episodes of sudden headaches with occasional vomiting for literal years that I mentioned to his pediatricians here every single visit, and every single time they downplayed it, brushed it off, told me to just let them know if it got worse. Once we moved, his very first visit with his new pediatrician they were concerned to hear about this and ran blood tests and referred him to a neurologist who told me to take him to the hospital if he had another episode that included vomiting. If the doctors at Texas Children's Pediatrics Kingwood had taken me even a little bit seriously and just ran a blood test they would have caught the issue. This was NOT the only problem we encountered that they brushed off either, that pattern started when my kids were newborns. I am kicking myself now for trusting them. Again, this place is fine for basic routine care, but nothing beyond that."

"I went here for advice because my asthmatic child needs a new spacer and they are out of stock all over the area. I heard the front desk person, Paulette, on the phone saying "but we can't just give it to her!" When she spoke to me she kept insisting that they couldn't just give it away, and I repeatedly told her I was looking for local advice on where to have my son's pediatrician send the prescription to, since we are still new to the area and our usual pharmacy chain is out of stock. It was as if I was speaking a different language. The lady was so determined to believe I was asking for something free, she refused to address the actual question, which I restated no less than three times. I was planning on bringing my children here and finally changing over to a closer practice. Now I definitely won't. Avoid at all costs."

"We appreciated the little nook for newborns. They got us in to the appointment quickly and answered all of our questions. The doctor was very knowledgable and utilized the computer to show examples of things we discussed."

"Dr Zachary the BEST. I just love that she does not rush me when i have concerns over my children. She is very sweet my kids love her. Sometimes they are booked when my kids are sick so i just take them next door, which i think its great."
