"I recently had an experience with Texas Children Pediatrics, and while the medical care provided by the doctors is truly outstanding, there are significant areas where the clinic falls short. The pediatricians demonstrate exceptional professionalism, empathy, and dedication to their young patients. Their approach to healthcare is both comprehensive and compassionate, making them a trusted partner in ensuring the well-being of children. However, the experience with the clinic’s customer service, particularly the receptionist staff over the phone, significantly detracts from these positives. The receptionists often come across as rude and dismissive, which is especially disheartening when dealing with the sensitivities surrounding children’s health. This lack of warmth and understanding from the first point of contact can unfortunately leave a lasting negative impression, overshadowing the excellent care provided by the doctors. Additionally, it’s important for potential patients to be aware that Texas Children Pediatrics does not accept insurance plans purchased through the Marketplace. This limitation in insurance acceptance can pose a significant barrier for families seeking affordable healthcare options, further complicating access to the quality care the doctors offer. "We’ve been coming to this practice since our daughter was born in April 2021. We love Dr Lee but even when he’s not available, the other doctors and nurse practitioners are all great. We have yet to have anything but a positive experience with everyone at this practice. The front desk is also always so nice and welcoming which is hard to come by sometimes in doctors’ offices. As a self proclaimed helicopter mom, I’d highly recommend this practice for your family! :)"

"I was denied an appointment here because I told the receptionist that I would not be vaccinating my son who his 19mo. I’m sure this is extremely unethical and I will be doing my research to see whom and how I can report this. My son is being denied care because of a choice to not vaccinate this is CRAZY to me. I asked if he could just come in for a regular checkup and was told No, this is a vaccination clinic. Which just further proves to me western medicine practitioners care NOTHING about people and only about how much money they can get from a patient. I am beyond disgusted."

"We've brought our kids here since they were 4 & 5 years old, they will be 17 & 18 this year. I absolutely LOVE Dr Jimenez, she has been amazing all these years, she is Family. Our kids have never felt uncomfortable and I've never had any issues here Thank God because a good pediatrician is hard to find. Not her, not Dr Jimenez, she is Fabulous."

"We love love love our doctor but we hate hate hate the way this place is ran. We’ve waited anywhere from 20-45 min just to get to the back (even as the first appointment of the day sometimes). Then it’s usually a good wait in the back too. Took an insane 1.5 hrs just for the flu shot. Front desk is unhelpful for updates. They way over schedule. If we didn’t love our doctor or if our doctor left we would leave too."
