"You are only a number at the office. The woman who gave my son his hearing test failed him after the first attempt. He simply did not understand the woman giving him directions (she had a very thick accent), and for this he failed his hearing test. We were then referred to an audiologist, where I would’ve had to pay 500$ for another hearing test. But when we went to a speech therapist, they kindly redid his hearing test for no extra charge, and he passed his hearing test. So they unnecessarily referred me to a specialist after failing to personalize the experience for us. Also the doctor was very rude, saying she didn’t understand my son and he should be speaking more clearly, with zero compassion or kindness. The energy felt so hostile in that exam room, and I felt like I was being judged harshly. (Also my son is 4 and can read books and large words like you would not believe) I absolutely do not recommend this pediatrician office."

"We love love love Dr Vadalla! He really takes time to listen to your concerns and has always made myself and my children feel very comfortable. Treats you like a real person and not a number. Would never go anywhere else. Been seeing him for all 3 of my kids for last 23 years!"

"Literally the worst dr office I have been to. I’ve been bringing my kids here for 17 years. They now have so many patients that they can barely get you in for an appointment. If your kid is sick and needs immediate attention, forget about it. They also require masks but don’t provide them for free. They charge $1 per mask. If you call and leave a message, you will NEVER get a call back. There is no accountability. You will also never be seen at the time of your appointment. I do not recommend this place to anyone."

"I was not impressed at all by the medical staff at this clinic. I wanted to try Dr. Patterson because I was new to town and needed a new pediatrician. I WILL NOT be going here. 1st... When I came into the clinic there was obvious police presence and a high tension situation taking place. We literally were asked to move to the side while waiting on the elevator( so that the police could get to the clinic before us) 2nd there was SO much paperwork, the times that we live in there should be a better system than to make a parent fill out 20+ sheets of paperwork for each child. 3rd...It was very clear my children were numbers, and the medical staff were not able to engage or connect with my children in ANY WAY ..... and the nurse was rude and rushing my 3 year old to go into the room to be weighed. She also had a very thick accent but would not slow down to communicate clearly. My first language is Haitian Creole and I do not expect everyone around me to work 5x's as hard to understand what I am saying. It is my job to make sure I am communicating clearly! She had no patience and treated us like a timed county clinic situation. The Dr. seemed to have had preconceived thoughts about us before ever speaking with us. She asked if I felt as if my child was having problems in school, and I immediately said yes I believe she has a bit of anxiety. She immediately began ASSUMING that my child has never gone to therapy or was in need of therapy. My mother is a child psychologist and I am a Licensed Counselor. She has been in play therapy since she was 2. Patterson then began to explain "affordable" places that we may qualify for. She also told us to "take a picture of a poster on her wall that helps with Anxiety" (Literally a Pinterest poster) It was pretty evident we were not going to be returning. Not to mention the fact that the offices are EXTREMELY outdated. I wanted to use this office because it is really close to where we relocated, but I would rather drive into Houston than to subject my children to this type of chaos again. The front desk ladies were the best part about this place, but as far as the care...... Just drive somewhere else this place is not what you want! Especially if you are used to quality care."

"We had a fantastic visit and my daughter (who hates doctors sorry!) seemed to do well here. Dr. Patterson was thorough and knowledgeable about how to help my daughter. I believe it was Brittany (sorry masks make it hard to remember faces!) who did my daughters shots and she was so fast and efficient my daughter barely cried. Penny and Belinda at the front desk were also very kind and informative, especially since it was our first visit. COVID precautions made me feel very comfortable bringing my daughter here as well."
