"Dr. Seiji Kitagawa is the best! My daughter had her fair share of gastroenterology issues that was instantly relieved by Dr. Kitagawa and his 1. Thoroughness 2. Kindness 3. Intelligence. I was confident in his care that he would not only give my daughter a diagnosis after thorough investigation and diagnostic testing, I also knew he would care enough to explain to me his thought process and reasoning for his treatment plan! He is a great communicator and compassionate and I’m grateful to have him as part of the treatment team. He follows up he listens, he’s the best!"

"I reposted my review so an employee would see this new beginning part. I'm still quite upset about what happened. We had to pay about $900 to see a PA who didn't even touch my daughter and two x-rays. At Houston Methodist, we paid less than that for multiple appointments with a real pediatric orthopedic surgeon, several x-rays, the cast, and removal. I told the billing department that my husband and I are low income disabled veterans. They said that there wasn't any financial assistance program or discount for no insurance. I checked the website and there actually is a financial assistance program- we were straight up lied to. We had to pay in full immediately. Nearly all doctors offices and hospitals give a no insurance discount and or financial assistance, but this hospital is shaking poor people down for every last dime. Absolutely shameful. From my original review: They said they had no availability for casting my daughter's arm (in the entire greater Houston area) for two weeks. The ER (HCA) said it's critical for her arm to be casted in one week. Instead of telling us this, (thank God knew better) Texas children's just wanted to take our money and schedule my daughter's appointment two weeks out. They never recommended for us to find another hospital to cast her arm in a week. Edit: additional info- I scheduled a casting appointment at a different hospital (HCA doesn't do pediatric orthopedics) and the nurse on the phone emphasized the importance of casting within a week. She sounded surprised that Texas children's was going to make us wait two weeks. Two weeks to cast a complete fracture of the radius and ulna. So two other hospitals had a problem with waiting two weeks to cast her complete radial and ulnar fractured."

"Dr. Phillip is playing a guessing game with your kids health. During my visit to see Sports Medicine Specialist Dr. Phillip Ribbeck, I couldn't help but feel that my time and effort were ultimately in vain. Regrettably, the consultation did not provide the clarity I had hoped for, and there were unsettling issues with the way my X-ray results were handled. Dr. Ribbeck's inability to accurately interpret the X-ray added to my growing sense of frustration and disappointment. What made matters worse was the feeling of being brushed off, as if my concerns were being trivialized. It's essential for a patient to feel heard and understood, especially when dealing with health-related matters. Unfortunately, this was not the case during my appointment, which left me with a profound sense of unease. My visit with Dr. Ribbeck left me with a sense of wasted time, unaddressed questions, and a lack of confidence in the care I received. I believe that open and effective communication is crucial in the medical field, and I hope that my feedback will contribute to improving the patient experience for others."

"My kids doctor recommended this place for x-ray quick results. This place it’s way more expensive than any other labs for x-rays, but since we needed the results the same day I chose to go there. Well, I waited for about two hours and called about the results and they told me results will be ready next day since they are going to send them to downtown. I asked them why they told me results were going to be today, they front desk lady only replied that she does not know. I’m not coming back to this place again. If you need x-rays there are other places way cheaper than here and results take the same. Don’t waste your time and money!"
