"I just wanted to post this review for the mothers an parents out there that are on edge with wound care like I was, my son was burned fairly bad on his abdomen an left hand an this hospital has been NOTHING BUT AMAZING TO HIM AN I. The doctors especially Emma have treated us like family & her team of nurses have always treated my son with respect and with exceptional compassion ! I don’t think I’ll ever be able to thank you guys enough for the support you gave me through this tough time. Truly a blessing to my little one an I. Treatment was so stressful but they did the absolute best they could for him & he is 100 percent back to his normal self even after the traumatic event he faced. Thank you so much Shriners an staff & a special thank you to Mrs Jennifer she was one of the nurses my son clinged to during his outpatient treatment & she literally has the best bed side manners an compassion for children. You guys are an absolute blessing to these kids! Never stop caring like you do!"

"This shout out goes out to the staff on the 6th floor. My son was burned here recently by another medical center. Our local pediatrician was worried about my sons wound being infected so we took off on a 70 mile drive to Galveston. Once we arrived we were asked if we had a appointment, which we replied no. They took us in anyways and we were seen very very quickly. Once we checked in and the nurse came into the room to check vitals and complete intake paperwork. Once that was complete we had about 4 separate nurses and a surgeon come in and check out the wound. 5 MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS at one time in our room!!! Blew my mind that we had that many people looking after our son! I didn’t catch their names but I wanted to give credit where credit is due. Thank you everyone for seeing our son on 8/29. Hudson def feels better now thanks to your staff. Will always have y’all in our hearts! God bless each and everyone of y’all."
