"I realize the store is trying to help animals, but $50 for a comforter with markings all over it. Prices are way too high. Come down on prices, we will buy more and you will make more, win/win for everyone!"
"Entirely too expensive for items that have been donated. Proceeds may benefit animals but prices do not help the community. Too many people are struggling in todays economy which is why they shop resell stores. If you want to pay full price you might as well shop retail not much difference here. Staff were not very friendly. If you want nice stuff at good prices visit The Closet. Very fair prices that help charities as well as the community shoppers."
"For our fur babies anything is worth it. Prices for the items for 'Resale' is too much. These items aren't all high end collectables, it's supposed to be second hand type items or new with slight box damage type items; but the price doesn't reflect that. Personally I love the store, I LOVE the cause they are doing what they do for. For animals, my own pup came from a shelter and I will always support them in any way I can. The volunteers there are pretty nice people too, and it will really help with keeping funds for the shelter. Good items, Good people, too high of a price on items some though aren't bad and others very fair. Can't wait to visit there again, always love talking to the girls about the thing that bonds us both; Our families w our fur babies. My best personal highlight was when a dog and two cats that seemed like pure underdogs got adopted into good homes. It's just beautiful what they're working for. I decided to put in almost 100 volunteer hours here for exactly that reason and I loved it, they welcome you in and treat you like your family. I saw how and why they're so passionate for the animals. They have just as much feelings as we do and their stories say everything. Thank you to everyone, everyone who volunteers there time there. It really helps a lot in things for those animals, and I support them all the way in their goal."
"My little niece and I went here today. I feel like we had Bureau counties meanest elderly ladies providing customer service to us. One was wearing a purple shirt and the other teal. They didn't smile, were short tongued and had the meanest annoyed looks on their faces. I think if your trying to raise $ for animals, then maybe put friendlier people out to provide the customer service. We won't be back."
"The service was excellent. The menu was wonderful for seafood lovers. Many things to choose from. My better half had 2 orders of the oysters on the half shell. He loved them. What he did not like was that the horseradish was mixed in the same container as the cocktail sauce. He prefers just the horseradish and hot sauce. He would have much rather had the entire cup of just the horseradish. He was disappointed he could not get the gumbo that was mentioned in your websight. He loves Gumbo. I am not a seafood fan nor am I a fan of highly spiced food. But he is. With that said there was one menu choice for me. I ordered the filet steak with green beans and baby new potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly but I could have done without all the green parsley on top of it. I scraped every bit of it off. Let the steak speak for itself. If it is a good steak it does not need garnishes to add to the flavor. It was a nice cut of meat, thin so it would cook rapidly. The items on the plate with the steak were good but a little disappointing. There were exactly five tiny little new potatoes, which I might add we paid extra for. They were cooked well and had good flavor, but not enough of them, they equaled to about 1/4 of a regular baked potato. The green beans were plentiful and cooked a tad al dente, which was ok, much better than mushy would have been, but they could have been prepped better. The ends that were brown should have been trimmed off prior to cooking them. You have a fine restaurant and an atmosphere comparable to seafood restaurants I have been in while in Florida. I know your specialty is the seafood but please put a little more attention to your non seafood choices. There is quite often a person in most groups of patrons that are not fans of seafood. If you work a little better on your non seafood choices everyone in every group that visits your wonderful restaurant will leave happy and full. Word of mouth is always a big help in your business. We will return since my better half loved his food. I just hope I will be equally as happy with my non seafood choice on our next visit. I have no doubts we will be back. Thank you for a wonderful experience so far from the coastal restaurants ."
