"This is the worst apartment complex ever. So unorganized and so unprofessional. They evicted my daughter saying that she didn't renew her lease when in fact she did. The new property manager claims that they don't have a sign lease when my daughter provided the lease. Police explained they can't just put her out. Their response was that she will just have an actual eviction on her record if she doesn't get out. All because they are renting the same apartment to different tenants."
"Panther Parents should be very cautious signing a lease. This rental property has over 30 listings available for an Air BNB. The staff changes depending on the Season. The longest tenure an employee has had in the office is 3 months. Unfortunately, the owner of this property has never taken accountability for misappropriation of funds. Sending condolences to the young Panther who lost her life."
"To The people moving in…. Good Luck, this establishment is beyond horrible. First off, they never finished building these apartments my unit still missing paint and I’ve lived here for a year... They claim they are no longer student housing. The office changes employees every month it seems like. And they constantly lose payments and want to give out eviction letters, when the rent was already paid. The property is called “The Gates” but our gate hasn’t worked since this place was built…. there is an Air BNB open to the public which kind of defeats the purpose of the gate if we are going to have random people in here. Not to mention the Air BNB is the nicest building (where they took the pictures for their website) BUT OUR FURNITURE IS NOT THE SAME! I was also told I was going to be able to renew my lease for 6months due to the fact I’m going to nursing school. But last minute the management “changed their mind” and will no longer be following the renew leases they already sent out and had me sign."
"I have been here since day 0. First, I come to tour on august. They show me an apartment like the ones in the photo. I specifically asked if that is the furniture and fridge we get. I was told yes. With the exception of the fridge because I was told we’d receive French door refrigerators. NEVER HAPPENED. I was told we would eventually receive the furniture in the pictures. NEVER HAPPENED. Valet trash was promised and advertised. NEVER HAPPENED. On move in day, my dishwasher was still in a box in the middle of my floor. We didn’t have Wi-Fi for weeks and still have outages for long periods of time. You will not have on-demand access to your mail. Why? Because they can’t/won’t get a mail box here. Residents have to rely on the office to receive their mail. The same office that closes whenever they feel like it. The place has been through about 5 different management companies since I’ve been here. Any of the good reviews are left by the owner and people that work for him( literally. Just check google. Those are not students leaving 5-star reviews) or short term renters. They care more about the building they rent as an AirBnB than they do the real residents. These people are preying on students who may be first time renters and taking advantage of the student housing scarcity. Here’s my advice, throw $1350 in a hole. Cause that would be the equivalent of signing a lease here. This has been an absolute waste of my money and I’m counting down the days til I can leave. Update: we unfortunately lost a fellow panther. She passed away on the property and in the midst of all that was going on, management had the audacity to send out messages about lease renewal. Automated or not that was in poor taste and has definitely reinforced my deciding to lease elsewhere for the next semester."
"DO NOT move here! These are very overpriced apartments especially for the treatment we receive as students and TENANTS from the staff here. The new management company is just as bad as the first if not worse. They are extremely unorganized and try to take advantage of you. Every month that I have paid my rent here EARLY; they kept sending emails saying I never paid. I had to go to the office multiple times showing PROOF before my account was fixed. I don’t know what they would have tried if I didn’t have my receipts, they were quick to say I didn’t pay and called & emailed nonstop. It is extremely hard to get in contact with them when problems arise in person as well as on the phone. I feel as though they are consistently trying to SCAM us. I wish I never moved in here these are the worst apartments ever!! It’s not worth the money nor the headache! I would rather stay on campus than stay here!"
