Gerry's Pizza

"My family and loved the pizza from until about 3 weeks ago roughly. Got a pizza that was made wrong. Called and spoke to male who said he was the manager. Said if I drove back across town I could get a new pizza. I said that wouldn’t work for me at the time. He said I could get a discount of 40% on next pizza when I came in. Called tonight and there was no record of me supposedly getting a discount. The lady manager on duty I was told would give me $5 off my pizza. This is poor customer service in my opinion and I would not recommend Gerry’s pizza to anyone again. Not being a big chain pizza place you would think their customer service would be better. Guess they don’t mind loosing business."

"Friendly staff calling in delivery and delivery person was super nice. Cheese pizza was very good, the Alfredo and Eggplant were pretty bland but everything was hot and pricing was reasonable."

"Disappointed: This place is clearly a favorite of those who visit regularly but it could use some help with organization. At 5:48 p.m. I phoned in my order for 2 pizzas (one cheese only and the other pepperoni) and an order of spaghetti. I was told my order would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant and paid for my order at 6:20 p.m. and was told I needed to wait until my order was ready. The gentleman in front of me placed an order at the counter when he arrived so we both sat down to wait. Several people came in to sit down to eat and a few others arrived to pick up carry out orders. The entrance to the restaurant was packed. Finally after sitting (directly in front of the counter) for 25 minutes, I asked for someone to please check on my order. After a couple of minutes, I received my pizzas and spaghetti--over ONE HOUR after I'd phoned in my order. If I hadn't already paid, I'd probably have walked out long before. As I walked to my car, the gentleman who placed his order at the counter when I arrived, walked out with his food too! When I got home, the cheese only pizza was overcooked and had large areas on the edge that had no cheese at all. Because the pizza was overcooked, the majority of the edges of the pizza where inedible. Very disappointing. The pepperoni pizza was fine--as was the spaghetti. I know that there many businesses are experiencing a shortage of workers but there were many people working at this restaurant. I could see at least 5 people in the kitchen as well as 5-6 people working the front of the restaurant. This was our second time ordering from Gerry's. The first time went well and the food tasted good. This time was a fail and I have no desire to return--especially when I know there are other locally owned Italian restaurants in the area with better customer service."
