"My husband and I lived here when they first opened in Jan 2022-November 2022. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND. I will even be bold enough to say this was one of our worst renting experiences after many many years of being renters in many states as we move a lot for my husbands job. The front office gentlemen Junior, throughout our time there was continuously rude and dismissive when we had any questions or concerns. Always made us feel as if we were inconveniencing them. Very unreachable. The pool was poorly tended to, filthy, and residents there consistently would not be respectful of the area where not only the pool but surrounding amenities at the pool were left unusable. The valet trash service was sloppy. Quite disgusting. I know this is a separate company conducting the trash but they would spill whole bags of garbage down the halls/ drag multiple bags down the stairs and not clean it up. I called that company and addressed it with the Tacara MULTIPLE times before ever getting a response. It was a sanitary health issue, when I requested that the stairs and hallways be cleaned, it took them weeks to complete it. Resulting in the rotten trash to smell up the hallways and leaving an unclean space for us to walk and take our dog out. The apartments look nice but they are not quality. You can hear everything, and our closet shelves fell multiple times straight out of the wall. Also their parking system is ridiculous, genuinely think they towed cars for fun. We had many guest be towed in the transition from the stickers to registering your car online, the communication on the change and what to do with guests was very poor. Instead of taking any responsibility, the would just tow the car. Also if you are looking for a SAFE place to live this is NOT it. Many car break ins, and not a good area of town, homeless people would somehow get in the gate and roam the complex as well. We were told this was an “up and coming area” by Junior, I would strongly disagree. A lot of these issues stemmed from it being ran very poorly which I credit to the office staff. Of course I hope they have improved or even been replaced since we lived there. However sadly, I would still NEVER RECOMMEND anyone wasting their time or money here."

Dori, the manager, not only efficiently facilitated my move-in in under a week but also continues to be super sweet and helpful. Although the cost is a bit higher, my positive experience since moving in makes it unquestionably worthwhile."

I just renewed my lease again and Junior was a huge help with getting some of my issues situated and he really cares about the residents. Dori also was a big part in helping me too. "Needed a place to stay right away. The Management at Tacara @ Crosswinds made happen the same day. I been very happy since moving here four months ago. Pricey but worth the extra, the place is just over a year old. Very clean and beautiful, pet friendly. I have included some photos of my one bedroom apartment."

"They look nice yeah but wait till your actual living there and have to deal with theft in your vehicles, homeless wandering the community. Sketchy maintenance. And dog poop everywhere. This place charged me for every tiny little thing when I moved out. And my place was not bad at all I even took pictures. I left 2 weeks before my lease was up and was charged almost $5000 for early move out on top of what I owed for the remaining rent. Was charged $900 for carpet and there was nothing wrong with my carpet. Charged me utilities?! The bill for them in the apartment cleaning it after I left ridiculous! Horrible communication with office staff as well which has changed so many times since I’ve been there. Be aware of the not so good things about living here like the porta potty plant across the street, it smells so bad in the air you can’t even sit outside on your porch."
