"We've been here a couple of months and we love it! The number one reason we leased here is because of the staff. They were amazing! From maintenance to leasing to the assistant to the manager. Staff were always early to arrive and ready to go when the office opened. The grounds were always picked up. Maintenance request immediately taken care of. Office always available and helpful."
"I lived at abbey at copper creek for over 3 years until I finally moved out. The apartment life was not bad the first 2 years here. The manager’s were a lot laid back and awesome to work with. But the last year here was a big nightmare. First off I drive a Kia so my car was broken into about 2 times in 3 months The apartment complex would take months to fix the front gate. Another issue I had with these apartment was the roach problem. They have pest control that just keeps the roaches away but does not kill them. So the day you decide to move you will be take roaches with you. So I had to throw all my furniture away as well as my cloths. Also we had a water leak when the pipes froze one winter in 2021 so some tiles in the apart got water damage but at the time I wrote the invoice I had no water damage until months later the tile began to warp. Long story short the management decided to charge me over 2k in tile damage that the water leak had done 1 year prior. So if you ever wright an invoice to fix a broken issue in an apartment make sure you include problems that may acquire months later because if you do not include it in an invoice they will charge you when you decide to move out. After all the charges and throwing away my roach infested furniture I spent well over 8k because of these apartments. Good luck with the management when you move in they are you’re family but the day you move out they will stab you in the back no doubt!"
"The apartment is okay, we don't have many complaints on the apartment itself other than we had our tub re-plastered multiple times and it still continued to peel. About a year and a half ago we had a vehicle stolen the only security here is the gate that works half the time. About 6 months ago our bicycle was stolen from our second floor balcony. I'm not sure how accurate the held at gun point review is on yelp but it's very likely because of lack of lighting. Just recently on August 24th we had a neighbors Catalytic Converter stolen. The lights on the covered parking where the vehicle was parked were not working. I sent in a request and was repaired quickly. As far as the other lights outside the building it took them nearly a month to repair and a lot of lights are still not working. We have also been receiving emails of Auto theft that took place in the past two days. I have called the office to see about breaking the lease prior to the recent auto theft and I was told I would be charged nearly 2k and it would be reported to my credit score. "Crime has no zip" is what I was told. Anytime I try to post on their community page to spread awareness the neighbors never see it because management reviews it first. No, I wouldn't recommend living here keep on looking. Update! They’ve replaced the lights, still don’t recommend living here"
"I moved from the Pacific to Texas and lived at the Abbey for about 2 years and only have great things to say about the entire staff. ALL the Ladies at the leasing office are professional, courteous, & very understanding. I knew maintenance always had their hands full, they be riding the golf cart every morning till dawn working the property. I can place a maintenance ticket today and they be there same day or no more than 2 days, pending the urgency. But they took care of it. I had both. My apartment was nice and clean, wood floors, wonderful neighbors, & quiet safe neighborhood. Parking was great but i think they may need more. They’re definitely filling up. I loved how close the property was to the mall, airport & work! 20 minutes tops! 281 is smooth even with traffic! Definitely gonna miss this. Another plus, when i had my car serviced, for 6 months, the VIA bus station was right across walking distance. THANK YOU ABBEY AT COPPER CREEK for making my first years, the best years! Miss you all!"
