"Nasty work is when you know your apartment buildings were built so cheaply to the point that you can hear every step and door close from the apartment above you and STILL give you a noise violation because the people that lived on the first floor complains about noise as if they're not living on the first floor. Quiet hours start at 10 pm ends around 8am. They wrote a lease violation by only talking to the person on first floor, not the people who the violation is about. The issue with that is that you don't exactly find out the times of the complaints. Like I said before, quiet hours start at 10. We're in bed by 9pm. You're just taking the word of someone who clearly isn't used to living in apartments. Also, the issues with guest parking seems to halt any free advertising you can ask of your residents because who the hell wants to move to a place that just towed them? This place loves to squeeze every dime they can out of residents and even guests who COULD HAVE turned into residents. I'd also like to add that I heard the upstairs neighbors having s3x at 2 in the morning. That's how thin the floors and ceilings are and yet I received a lease violation for normal noise. Noise violations should not exist here since the builders did not do their job of building with insulation. This place feels like a prison. A dog fecal mattered prison."

"Just moved out of this property and out of all the apartments I've moved into in the San Antonio/Austin area this is probably the worst. To be transparent you WILL be responsible for replacing almost everything in the apartment (water filter for fridge, light bulbs, toilet seats etc.). The only thing that is actually covered is the air filter and even at that it gets dirty within a month of use. Also make sure to receive a move in form to check the apartment and mark all findings. We did not receive one after asking because at the time "it was not needed". Now we are having to pay for something that was already there before we moved in. There is also lots of crime in this area so be aware of your surroundings (recent car break ins, a shooting that happened in building 8, package burglaries). Don't get me wrong crime is everywhere, but for it to be this bad in what is considered a "luxury" complex is crazy. The apartment itself is nice looking until you move everything in and realize how thin the walls and floors are. We had what sounded like an herd of elephants living above us for the majority of our lease and it was not only ridiculous but infuriating!! Get home after 6 pm? Good luck finding parking near your apartment building. Plus, if you want guests over they need to park far away and will be charged $5 between the hours of 10pm-10am or they will get towed. The facility grounds was clean at one point but for some reason new tenants who moved in recently just don't care about picking up after their dogs. My dog actually got sick recently after a walk grass area. Her vet stated she got sick from being exposed to "waste". Overall, the area is nice to live in but these apartments have really been declining and honestly I wouldn't recommend."

"4 stars for Alex specifically ! Overall my stay at Vecina has been peaceful it’s a nice community, in a great location next to a great school! My son and I love it here , I have been here only a few months and have seen a lot of people come and go in the leasing office but the one person who remains consistent is the assistant PM Alex, she is always open and willing to help and she does so with a smile on her face, there have been several occasions where I have come in to see who I assume is the manager sitting behind her desk typing away, that lady will literally act like she doesn’t see you and then approach you with a demeanor that one can only assume is an attitude simply for pulling her away from her current task to ask for help , then there is Alex who will clearly be juggling multiple task simultaneously and she will stop whatever she is doing to assist and she does so with a smile on her face and pleasant attitude. And this isn’t just my experience I’ve witnessed similar events occur with other residents. You can tell this lady is passionate about her job because I see her regularly greet residents by name, All in all I am sure the other residents will attest that Alex is the heart beat that keep Vecina on the up and up so thank you ma’am for all that you do you kindness and willingness to help means a lot to me ! Have to update this review the parking situation really almost cancels out all the great things about living here , I’ve now been towed 3 times and I live here ! If you come home past 7 pm you will not be able to find a space anywhere near your apartment ( I have a small child) . If you park in a handicap as that’s the only available space next to a dumpster mind you I get towed. So why don’t you guys tell your tow company while scanning vehicles to scan and tow the people that don’t live here that’s taking the residents spaces , don’t tows the residents that actually live here"

"Love it here, and will never say anything bad about Vecina. There is nothing to complain about here! Danielle and Samantha are so helpful in the leasing office. They work hard to make Vecina a safe and fun place to live. Maintenance is on top of the requests and respond quickly. Amazing amenities, lots of hikes around us, and great restaurants. We love living at Vecina! For the price- you get a lot. Amazing management, and team!!"

Overall, Vecina Apartments provided a wonderful living environment with top-notch management and maintenance teams.
