"DON’T RENT HERE!!!!! management do not care or try and help you when you become a victim of theft and burglary. They say oh well…. Sorry. Every night cars get broken into and tires get stolen and cars are left on bricks. Trash complex who do nothing to deter crime. Gate never works but they’ll have excuses, no cameras, NO security. Even though they make so much money off of their renters and can’t even hire a third party security service. Pathetic. So save your money and go find a better place with better security. They place isn’t it. You will spend money on rent, trash valet who also suck. Trash everywhere, and spend money on repair your car after vandalism is don’t to it. STAY AWAY!!!!! Update: talk about outdated surveillance cameras that were made in the early 1990s lol. I bet anything they don’t even work either smh. No wonder theft always happens here."

"Love the apartments only downside is that gate seems to always be broken right now the gate code is not working and it hasn’t worked for about a month maybe longer so if you have a visitor coming in they have to wait for some one to leave so they can enter once the gate is open, or they have to enter behind another vehicle that’s if they get lucky and some one is entering otherwise we have to walk all the way to the gate with our remote to open the gate. If the gate code was changed we were never informed this is such an inconvenience How much longer do we have to wait for it to be fixed ?"

Her thoroughness in guiding me through the application process and eagerness to address any queries created an immediate sense of comfort. What truly stands out is that Bri's commitment to resident satisfaction never waned over the five years. Her perpetual enthusiasm every time we crossed paths by the mailbox or in the office reinforced the feeling of being part of a community, not just a tenant. Safety was never a concern during my time at The Abbey. The parking facilities, a rarity in San Antonio, were a pleasant surprise. The multi-level garage with no assigned parking spots allowed flexibility, and the convenience of elevators made access hassle-free. The gated entry further deterred unauthorized access, making the property feel secure at all hours. The efficiency of the property staff deserves applause. Maintenance requests were promptly attended to, and the staff was consistently courteous and professional. The sense of community extended beyond the staff to my neighbors, many of whom became lasting friends. The amenities at The Abbey were the icing on the cake. The pool, a summer oasis, provided a perfect setting for meeting neighbors and creating lasting memories. The 24/7 gym, well-equipped and impeccably maintained, catered to fitness needs. Additional perks such as basketball courts, a computer lab, and a theater made this more than just an apartment complex – it was a vibrant community. One highlight for me was the flexibility to personalize my living space. The option to create accent walls in my unit allowed me to infuse my personality into my home. The 1-bed apartment with a study, comparable to an extra bedroom in size, offered ample space for both work and hobbies. The Abbey at Grande Oaks exceeded all expectations. It was not just a residence; it was a community. The exceptional staff, led by the remarkable Bri, played a pivotal role in making this property feel like home. If circumstances allowed, The Abbey would undoubtedly be my forever home. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a secure, friendly, and amenity-rich living experience in San Antonio."

"Apartment is great and Amenities are great. Gate safety is minimal because people follow people into the gate every day. For some reason, the fire alarm goes off every week this summer for at least five minutes. Dog poop is not picked up because lack of enough dog bag dispensers are installed. Valet trash collection is often late and sometimes missed. Rent is a bit high. Parking garage is two ways, so drivers need to be extra careful. Dog bag stand was “ordered” 6 months ago according to management??? Shouldn’t take that long."

"Luxury Mid Rise BS. Do NOT rent here!! Trash lays around for days on end, added more photos of trash outside of units at 8 am, so much for valet trash...a service you’re REQUIRED to pay for, but not one they’re required to actually do. There’s absolutely NO security, even though they lie and say there is. Maintenance, management for that matter, doesn’t work weekends. They’re gate stayed broken all weekend and I walk outside to find my truck on blocks, parked on the third floor of their parking garage. The manager tells me she doesn’t know how to review the security footage (if it even works) because she’s “new”. No apology or even attempt to try to get someone that does know what they’re doing, she blew off the SAPD officer and other tenant that had his truck broken into as well."
