"Moved into an apartment several years ago and it was infested with bed bugs"

"April, the property manager is a complete negligent, absent and conscious-less woman that is absolutely putting tenants in gross danger in regards to heat stroke and the lack of air conditioning in many units, and when the tenants complain, nothing gets fixed. As a confidant to a few of the tenants, though I don’t reside here myself, I’ve been inside their apartments and have felt firsthand the ambient temperature. I guarantee you that a heat stroke is in the future for some residents under this woman’s management. When I spoke to April personally, I was assured that no one was lacking in their air conditioning at any unit. The number I reached here was also different than the one on the lease signed by one of the claimants of this gross endangerment happening. I’m sitting in one of the units that have been “fixed” and while the thermostat is set to 69 yet the indoor temperature reads 77 degrees as I type this. It’s 1pm in June. Heat stroke is a lethal threat. The unit outside is whining and grinding and there are a few other that are making very terrible noises on the property. April tells me that maintenance is here daily. The tenant must submit in writing to the front office to even be acknowledged yet I’ve watched this tenant call, submit in writing, call again, and still receive absolutely zero communication from either property management or maintenance of any sort. This violates so many city codes and to be frank, moral ethics. Anyone living here, please know your rights as a tenant and know there are steps to take above property management. You do not have to settle for abuse. City council will be notified if nothing is done within 3 business days from the date of this review. Fair housing is real and the housing authority of the area is not a force to be reckoned with."

"I was recommended by a friend to come look at these apartments and upon inspection they were not “new” as I was told. I have seen roaches in the apartment. Some tenants told me that their AC do not work and haven’t worked for months and the owner didn’t do anything about it. Lights flicker all the time. They are not structurally sound. You can hear what everyone in the apartments next to you and above you are doing. Hear normal conversations without any problems. The owner is highly disrespectful. She told a tenant that he was annoying and had 10!days to leave. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!! WORST PLACE IN KERRVILLE"

"Landlord is very disrespectful towards tenants. Will fine you for animals you don’t even own and takes the word of others before you. My friend who lives here is very respectful of neighbors and is very quite. I have witnessed the OWNER of the property screaming over the phone to her tenant over something she couldn’t control. HIGHLY disrespectful. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA"

"Landlord will tell you to move out the same day of being told to. Gave 30 day notice and yet are expected to move out within 10 days and suddenly even though the whole month was paid for. Very poorly insulated . Downstairs neighbor constantly complains cause he can hear us walking and creaking because of how old the building is and poorly insulated. Barely any washer and dryers in the facilities and no pool. Landlord can be very rude with how she handles neighbors complaints about you and next to sewer so there's a strong smell when you drive to the apartment ."
