"I moved out about a year ago but still visit and know people that live here. Adding another review because there is no hot water AGAIN. its been barely lukewarm for over a month and now completely cold AGAIN with no known repair date AGAIN. The last time this happened it was MONTHS before it was fixed. Save yourself some serious misery and DONT LIVE HERE. Also this place doesn't have any pet restrictions - originally I thought that was nice. But now there are viscous dogs here. On numerous occasions I've seen dogs lunge at other dogs and people here. Not much management can do with their loose restrictions. Just know if you sign a lease to live here you are signing up for a nightmare."
"Love love loveeee my home. This is truly the first apartments that i am in love with. Everyone is so understanding and always willing to help. Major S/o to Sean i love your personality and how much time you put into your craft! Briana and Jessie I TRULY APPRECIATE YOU TWO LADIES! Amazing partnership in the office. Great communication!"
"The people in the leasing are super friendly, but the overall experience hasn’t been great. The apartment is nice in the interior, which is all I like about the apartment. The people upstairs are horrible. In 20 years I’ve never lived in an apartment where it sounds like a stampede coming from through the roof every day and practically all day . I can’t take naps, watch TV, or sleep through the night without getting startled out of sleep at 1 a.m. I’ve put in several complaints, and the noise just gets worse. It’s to the point where I have accepted this as my new reality. The people upstairs also flooded my apartment the second week I moved in, and my bedroom was soaked. I had water stains all through the ceiling and was told my leak wasn’t that bad. It took a while for them to finally paint my walls, which were halfway done. The painters didn’t cover up my furniture, so my dresser and TV are covered with paint. I didn’t complain because the furniture is old, plus I already complained so much about the people upstairs that I didn’t want to be bothersome. I moved into the apartments in November, spent the wheel, and won free reserved parking for a year. It’s February, and we still don’t have reserved parking. I feel like you shouldn’t offer that as an option if you don’t already have the reserve spots set in place. I feel the place is very unorganized. I had a homeless lady knock on my door two days in a row, trying to get me to let her in. I'm not sure how she got into the building, but it was scary. So far, my experience hasn’t been good; it's actually been kind of miserable because of the noise. I know the owners just bought the apartments, so I try to be lenient, and they really are nice people. But I dislike that the apartment isn't organized. Attached is my painted furniture."
"I’ve lived here for 4 years and have put up with a lot in that time (dog and human waste everywhere, constant fire alarms, weeks of no hot water, rampant break-ins) but this was the last straw. My apartment flooded and I was unable to get ahold of anyone on the “emergency line” or anyone in the office for 30 minutes (while the fire alarm is blaring) until I went in person and found a staff member who was busy on the phone confirming her dinner plans for the following day. She informed me she was aware of leaks in all the apartments above mine FOR HOURS but was occupied with other things and not able to give me a heads up that shortly water would be raining through our ceiling and onto my belongings."
"I’ve been a resident here for 3 years and it’s had 3 different owners. My hopes were up when ResProp Management took over but I wouldn’t consider this place “luxury & comfort” unless… -You like showering with cold water. Yep, it’s been over a month and they haven’t fixed the boiler so our apartment hasn’t had hot water. What did they do to make it right? Absolutely nothing, they’ve sent one email saying they’re trying to fix the issue and that’s it. I reached out to corporate and they simply had the building manager call me to apologize and he let me know he’d call me back later that day with some sort of solution, that was a week ago. -It’s common to see drug deals happening just outside the back door on Galveston Ave. -We were told security cameras would be installed in the garage months ago and nothing. Just recently multiple cars had their windows broken out and belongings stolen. Oh yea, and there’s no cameras so what do you do! -There is constantly trash everywhere.. the elevators and stairwells smell like a human urinal most days. -The building fire alarm has a chronic issue to where it’ll randomly go off for about 30 to 90 minutes a couple of times a year. Historically, it’s been between 1 and 6am. Everyone evacuates and the fire department inspects everything only to learn there wasn’t a fire, again. -One of my friends who is a resident had their own car towed from the garage because someone didn’t update their details into the system and spent the day trying to get her car back and Bottlehouse did not want to cover any of her costs for their mistake (towing fees, Uber, etc). -The list goes on.. but I want to like the place. It’s in a great location and the units are nice but the current management has been incredibly disappointing, they’re friendly but it’s mostly empty promises generated with ChatGPT. I’m hoping they’ll make this situation right."
