"The tenants here are nice and respectful. The grounds are kept very clean. The maintenance works Tre and Aaron do a great service in their repair work here I would recommend the Phoenix to everyone who like to live here."
"As of this review I've been here for a year, heres my Pros/Cons review: Pros: - Maintenance and staff are all great, couldn't ask for more - Washer & dryer included in the unit - The best complementary gym of any apartment complex in the Fort Worth area, from the research I've done (at time of writing, I believe also the only one with freeweight bar bells!) - Stunning interior & living space, very modern contemporary. - Literally could not think of a better use of apartment flooring space (693 ft^2 in this 1-bed). Really large bathroom and walk-in closet as well. I've been in apartments and townhouses that were twice the square footage that barely even felt much larger. - Good sound insulation between walls, good lighting, etc. Working from home I've had no complaints in this regard, with one exception (see cons). - The pool area is also as good as it looks in the photos. I'm super jealous of the people with the interior balcony views. If you're from a place like Miami, this is a pretty good alternative assuming you're finding yourself in Fort Worth. Cons (these are pretty nitpicky and minor in comparison): - The bedroom seems to have poorly insulating windows, so when it's in the 40's~50's outside it tends to be colder in the bedroom than the rest of the house. - The interior hallways between apartments/garage park are cold, dark and VERY echoey– just pure concrete. Wish they had some soundproofing of some sort (objects, carpets, something) because while sound from other apartments has not been an issue, the way sound amplifies in the halls, you can hear when someone is in the halls very clearly. - Anyone new to Fort Worth like I was: there's not much in the way of city life in Fort Worth downtown, so if you're hoping for some of that, it might be better to live somewhere between Fort Worth and Dallas to make the drive to Dallas more like 25 mins instead of 50 mins. - On a similar note, while this is close to downtown Fort Worth, though the neighborhood around it is not at all "bad", it's very non-residential. The atmosphere is contained to the complex itself -- hence why having an interior apartment is a lot nicer than an exterior-facing apartment imo. TL:DR/Conclusion: the pros massively outweigh the cons, and it's overall a great place to live, with great management. As someone working from home I absolutely love it here, as far as Fort Worth goes."
"Absolutely wonderful experience with The Phoenix! Lived here for 4 years and never had a single problem with my unit, the complex, my leasing agent, or maintenance team. Exceptional view unrivaled by any apartment complex around due to the location. Affordable price for the area. Good parking. Good amenities. Highly recommended!!"
"Where do I begin with how much I've loved The Phoenix as my home for the past 1.5 years? It was my first real apartment outside of student housing right before graduating, and I had definitely gotten burned before with previous properties' empty promises of fixing things only for them to break down again, amenities closed down half the time, indifferent office staff, and the like. But I can honestly say living at The Phoenix, they mean what they say and they hold themselves to a higher standard. I have encountered NONE of the things I've experienced before at other apartments: Trey, the Maintenance Manager, is always on top of any maintenance requests/work orders put in- and gets them done right the FIRST time and has excellent communication throughout the process. That man is so efficient! He's even been kind enough to let my dog and cat out of the room when Pest Control had to come by to handle the residual sugar ants in my bathroom (my cat was frequently spilling his food on the floor). The amenities are an all-around hit, and I loved that I was able to access the WiFi, computers, and printer in the clubhouse for those late nights of studying even after hours, due to the secure key fob access. The courtyard is one of my favorites too because of how cozy it is, it feels like a private backyard- and I loved going out there to study also. Plus, with the grill out there, I was able to make dinner at the same time! If I'm feeling more social, then the pool area is definitely where it's at. There are plenty of seating areas and a good mix of people from all walks of life to converse with! As for the office staff, I couldn't be more thankful. They are so kind and understanding, it's easy to feel like they're your friendly neighbors more than anything. When my roommate and I decided to go our separate ways due to sudden job changes, they were very transparent about the ins and outs of getting a separate unit to make that transition easier. Allison, the Community Manager, is the main reason that, despite the job change to a further location, I've decided to stay at The Phoenix! I love how she runs this property and you can tell her heart is genuinely in it because residents aren't just apartment numbers to her- they're people with hobbies and pets with names that she somehow remembers? It truly feels like home here. I'm so appreciative of being able to lay my head down at night in a safe, caring, and down-to-earth community."
"I lived at the Phoenix for 24 months and very much enjoyed my time there. If not for personal reasons I would have stayed longer! The Phoenix is perfectly situated for those wanted an urban lifestyle but without the pace or hassle of being in a very busy location. It’s easy to walk, bike or bus to downtown and all of the Near Southside. The surroundings are generally very quiet, the only thing I would warn is that trash trucks picking up from surrounding businesses can come in the middle of the night and are very loud. Amenities are lovely as well, and the building feels very secure, especially with the enclosed hallways. Although I have not looked at apartment prices in the area since 2018, at the time The Phoenix also was one of the most reasonable of all comparable communities in the area. And finally, the management and maintenance team is fantastic and a joy to work with!"
