"The staff is nice but I feel like I was guided to sign the paperwork that benefited them more than it did me. I went to purchase a house, saw my mortgage rate, was told that it didn't move for two weeks so I Iocked in my mortgage rate. The house/location I wanted with the same floorplan came available so I asked to switch to that one. I noticed that mortgage rates went down on some companies but LGI financed raised mine. During the building process I asked about their sales and mortgage rate but was told numerous times that I got it for the best price. Come to find out after talking to my neighbors, I paid more for the house and a full % more than they did even though they moved in during the same month. All I'm saying is to watch yourself with the price and rates. In my opinion, these houses are priced about 10-15% higher than what they should be, and for that extra $30-45k there should be more included customer help wise and "accessories" wise. Yes it is bare bones and yes there are a few things that could be done differently like adding blinds or fans but that is a company thing, not a builder problem. This is a starter home and it allows for customization. However, there should be more included for the price. The builders were prompt and helped whenever they could. They were more helpful and transparent than their counterparts. In the end this is my first house and I've learned a lot from it. Get yourself someone who knows the paperwork side and someone who lives in the neighborhood. It'll save you $70k+."
"I had the pleasure of working with Christina and she is phenomenal! She goes above and beyond, is very professional, informative, and willing to work with your needs. We loved our experience working with her. Time is money and yours won’t be wasted here."
"These houses are bare bones with place holder CHEAPO carpeting. there are frequently open and partially open man-holes in the sidewalks. White semigloss drops on everything. Siding coming apart too. Vinyl flooring a half inch short of base board. 2 places I can see concrete. Also they are no glueing the floor tiles so they curl up on the edges. You need to be prepared to replace 100% of the flooring. If you are buying new tell them to skip the vinyl flooring bc they won’t do it right. The grass has been installed On top of large stones that should have been cleared first."
"It was a nice starting point in our hunt. We didn't fall in love. It wasn't for us. On the bright side, all the houses in section A were almost all gone! The gentleman we had a pleasure of meeting was very pleasant and gave us a lot of information and helped us with everything we needed to know. It honestly looks like the start of a great community."
