Cottages at Summer Creek 5401 Barlean Ranch, Fort Worth, TX 76123

"My partner and I have lived here for about 5 months now. We chose this place not really thinking about location, just that it was close to my partner’s work. If you like being close to the city or having easy access to free highways, do not live here! That is more on us than it is on the apartment though haha. The apartment itself is brand new, we are the first to live in our unit. Overall, it’s a really nice complex. The staff is nice and maintenance is GREAT. They are very quick and on top of things. Every apartment has a yard, but they vary in size. If that’s important to you, be sure to ask to tour a specific unit. There are also two dog parks. There is no gym amenity. The only complaint I have is the size of the apartments. They are quite compact and the closets are tiny, so if space is important to you, keep in mind that the rooms are really small in some units and space design really isn’t given too much thought. Again, this is more on us than it is on the complex. I would recommend living here if this apartment fits your needs, but if you’re looking for space, location closer to downtown, and a gym amenity, I would not recommend it!"

"This place and its management is utterly disgusting. Sydney and Derrick Giles have displayed pure racism from the very beginning. These EMPLOYEES need to go through some serious training. Also the lack of integrity and morals by having employees of your company write positive reviews. That should show you something."

"Cottages at Summer Creek is about 20-25 minutes from my current job using the toll road to get to the hospital district. The cleanliness of the community is another attraction to me. A very much appreciated amenity is the valet trash pick up at your door. There is never any noisy music, or residents within the community so far. Communicating with the staff is very easy, they are accessible. By renting here , we are automatically enrolled in the Smart Start program, where you accumulate money monthly for paying your rent on time , in the event you complete your lease in 13 months, you have gained $10,000 towards the purchase of a new home. My husband and I plan on taking advantage of this program, but will perhaps be relocating to the Houston area. All in all I am happy to be a resident here at the Cottages at Summer Creek, and I am a walking billboard telling people that I know looking for a great place to stay. I gladly give them your name to look into."
