"So it's hard to give a review in covering everything that happened. Sorry for it being so long but it can not go untold... March 2022 The wife and I decided we were going to move back to Kansas to take care of family. We decided that building a new home was the best way to go. We decided we wanted a Home Theater, speakers through the house, and outside to listen to music and have them double as speakers for the tv's throughout the house. We also wanted control 4 for the lighting in the theater. My thought was I would buy the gear in Texas. Then I would hire somebody in Kansas to prewire it and install it all. I did my research, created a budget and off I went. I went to 15 different locations before Theater Advice. They all wanted to sell me gear but they didn't want to talk about the gear. What makes this speaker better than this one? Why is this amp cleaner than this one? etc. To most people it doesn't matter but to me that says you don't know your product and I am just a number not a customer. I walked into Theatre Advice and guy behind the counter says welcome, and in a joking voice says you look like you are ready to get to work with all the stuff you have in your hands. I said yes I am. He offered me something to drink then we sat down and talked about my plans. David Huse (The founder, and CEO of the company was the guy behind the counter.) I was floored that he was taking his time to talk to me. After I told him of my plans, and my budget, we went into the first room and he took me to school about screens ya'll. I didn't know anything about screens and it was eye opening. I can't say this enough....Invest in a good screen!! We then talked about equipment. I was able to hear what I was going to purchase along with see a projector that was close to the one I was going to purchase. After all the gear was chosen we sat down and went through my house plans. I told him where I wanted my home theater, and where I wanted speakers throughout the house. David then took a copy of the house plans and 2 days later sent me finished plans of all the wiring needed, locations of all the speakers, and the best setup for the home theater. November 2022 I was in Kansas for the holidays. So I went to the local home theatre store. I will leave them unnamed but for wiring my whole house with Cat8 cable, speaker wire, home theater, and it all going to a single location was 50K! Needless to say I didn't go with them. I came back to Texas to see David and explained the situation. He said let me see what we can do. David asked for the numbers of my project manager building the house and the electrician we were using. At this point I am way more than stressed! He then said, give me some time. Later that evening he called me back and said, the electrician is going to wire the whole house for you. I told him everything he needs and he is good. All the wiring will be done by them, and I am sending my two best guys to Kansas to install everything for you!! Once again, I was floored that he would send 2 guys from Texas to Kansas for the install. It's not like I was doing a $100k job or more. This is just who David is. He takes care of his customers. Once the house was sheet rocked we discovered an issue with where the screen was going to go. The out and return air handlers were located side by side and not stacked on the ceiling per the house plans. Making the theater area not big enough to use the 160 inch screen and taking us down to a 110 inch screen. Once again, I called David and he came through again. He stated the only way to keep the size of the screen I wanted was to go from the floor. He said "trust me, it will be amazing." I said ok. (P.S. It was amazing!) January 2023 Install day came and the guys were here for three days. Everything was installed and worked perfectly. There were no issues whatsoever. I can't recommend David Huse and Theater Advice crew enough. If David says Trust me, It will look amazing! Trust him! Proud to be part of the Theater Advice family! "Theater Advice was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. I initially had Amy spec out an amazing room setup with top notch equipment that I'm glad we went with because the outcome is outstanding. The two gentlemen that installed the equipment, Mikah and Jared, were professional, courteous, and kind during the long install process that they completed flawlessly. They took the time to involve me and ask me questions during the install to make sure I was comfortable during the process. I'm particular about my room setups and Jared and Mikah did great. Thank you Bryan for staying in communication with me while we waited for the equipment to come in (which wasn't that long). I'm so happy I went with Theater Advice and will definitely go back for the next project."
"We initially worked with Amy to get our quote and some of the equipment was not available so they had set up a loaner so that we would get the experience of enjoying the media room sooner. We got our media room done by them. They are very honest and true professionals. We had few issues after installation and Bryan scheduled Cody and Jason they came took care of all the issues and made sure everything was working fine. They even followed up to make sure it was working fine. I have got a lot of things done on my house since we moved but this level of customer service is amazing to experience. As we moved to a new community there are a lot of people wanting new Media room setup and I have been referring you guys as you are the BEST."
"These guys are absolutely the best in not only media rooms, but home automation as well. They’ve mounted 2 TVs for me with sound bar setups. Ordered and installed electric roller shades for my whole house. Great shades that people can’t even tell they are there when they are up. Easily controlled through an app and Alexa. Just recently, they installed a brand new media room set up for us. We gave them a budget, they stuck to it, and they exceeded our expectations on the finished product. Service and communication has always been top notch."
