"My wife and I have recently moved into these apartments and I just wanted to share my experience because their old reviews should be updated! The unit we toured/moved into was very clean, spacious, and smelled new! Coming from Houston I was shocked how nice these apartments are and how quiet it is. It’s unreal for someone from a big city. I would highly recommend living here and it’s safe so that’s a plus. Thank you again for making our move so easy and staying to your word! This place definitely is worth a shot at looking to move your family to. We love our decision by renting here vs. any house/apartment we saw here in Del Rio before relocating."
"Update 1/9/2023: I have now moved away from Del Rio but I want to give a final conclusive review. Overall, I am thankful to stay at the Camino Del Rey apartments. The floor plan is generous, the rent is reasonable, and any issues were resolved promptly for me. I had no issues closing and checking out my apartment. If I were to return to Del Rio, I would consider this apartment again. - I’ve been living at my one-bedroom apartment for almost a year now and, generally, I like it. My apartment is pretty big for its size with a long hallway where I can walk. The floors are tile which is easy to clean. Kitchen, bathroom appliances, and hot / cold water all run well. Apartment has a central heating and cooling system where I can set the temperature. Neighbors are friendly and generally quiet. They have an inner courtyard where sometimes I would go outside to get some sunlight. There is also a track nearby where I can jog. Apartments are at the North side of Del Rio which is close to Wal-Mart, Planet Fitness, and still close to the rest of the city. Management is professional and friendly to me, and any maintenance issues are fixed promptly. The biggest concern that I have is that the rent can be a bit pricy, but given the amenities and the bigger apartment, I feel it is still worth it."
"This place is definately not worth the rent cost. Problem after problem is all I ever have and I cannot wait to move. Water heaters are shared with your naighbors so if they shower alot, good luck with getting hot water. Ive asked 3 times to repair the dishwasher, gave up on asking so I wash by hand now. Ive also asked 3 times to nail my front door jam to the ground since it is not attatched in any way and they havent done that. I have had water leaks, the whole place still smells like paint since I moved in 7 months ago, and now the AC doesnt work."
"Hello. I’m only on here looking for the owner of the apartments. I’ve been a tenant 9 years. The current manager has ignored my request to get your phone number. Both of your managers by the name of Jennifer have been negligent and our apt has flooded twice. I’m done footing the bill for negligence and would very much like to speak to you. We are reasonable people and just want this to be made right. Thank you."
"I lived in #G-49 from May 2018 to September 2018 just so if any employee there reads this they know exactly who I am. IF YOU RENT FROM HERE DO NOT PLAN ON GETTING YOUR DEPOSIT BACK! Went through with the manager to do the check out inspection and I had two faults and that was the paint from a closet door had rubbed against a chair, so the 33rd coat of paint was gently rubbed and a blind had been bent from my 1 year old son grabbing it. I was charged $300.00 for the two! My full deposit! I see a lot of pipeline workers are here in town so I am sure Camino Del Rey's business is not struggling but, I would hope they would strive to actually do good business and not gain business by default or to receive profits by theft! I would check other options before renting from here for a temporary or permanent living situation!"
