"As always, Dr Fo was great. Managed all my husband's new medications and arranged everything for us. She is very caring and even called us on our personal phone at 7:00 in the morning we love her we wish more doctors were like her ."
"DON’T make an appointment, it’s useless. I scheduled at 1 PM for 4 PM and when I showed up I got told there would be an hour wait because 3 people checked in before me. They will NOT see you at your scheduled time. I sat there for that entire hour and saw multiple people who made appointments come in and be turned away with “there’s a 2 hour wait.” I really wish there was a better system for appointments, or that the website would let you know that even if you schedule you may not be seen on time. I try not to write negative reviews ever because I know how difficult working in healthcare can be, but this felt honestly ridiculous and it probably doesn’t help that I’ve got the flu or covid and felt miserable that entire 1 hour+ in the waiting room. Edit: It took 2 hours for me to be seen despite my appointment. The nurse told me my fever was the highest she’d seen all day. I have yet to receive the doctors’ note I was promised and when I called to ask I was told “FYI, notes can take 1-7 business days to appear in your portal.” What’s the point of a note then?? I also was tested for viral infection (for which the results take minutes), but I’m not likely to find out what I’ve got for another day or so. I absolutely won’t be back here."
"2 stars because they saw me right away, and front desk clerk was friendly. April, the Medical Assistant is bad at taking blood. I should have known when she said, "I had to send a patient home because I couldn't draw blood", that I was in for a bad experience, as I'm a hard stick. I told her right away to get it from my hand, and she refused. The result were bruises on both my arms, and she never attempted my hand. Didn't ask me to drink water, take a walk, or put a warm compress on my arm, to get the blood flowing. Instead she said, "you're gonna have to come back on Sunday or Tuesday". Even when she applied the tape on my arm, it was too tight, and it ended up with broken blood vessels. Most people I know get anxious at blood draws, and now I have to go back. If you're a hard stick and you see her, decline and ask for someone with experience. 12/26 - changed my review, Phlebotomist Michelle did a fantastic job, thank you for your professionalism."
"showed up on my day off hours early before they close to get labs done only to be told they're closed and have no reason why. love having my time wasted! guy behind the counter tried to change the subject & deflect when I complained saying they couldn't have helped me anyway. the nurse tried saying the same! so they tried to say it was my mistake! When I told her my DR is at this location too & they requested the labs here, she looked confused and walked away saying she'll check on it. She never came back and the guy behind the counter again tried to deflect change the subject and gave me a dirty look. Great customer service! highly recommend this place"
"I scheduled an online appointment with this location for urgent care today due to pain in my right calf. Scheduling online was easy and the front desk staff was very nice and got me back in the clinic quickly. When I got back into the clinic, the tech told me that there was no X-ray coverage at the clinic until after 530 PM and that I might be referred out. The nurse practitioner who saw me then said she'd want labs on me as well as an X-Ray and ultrasound. I told her that I was concerned due to losing time fron work and that I would not have come to this facility if I had known they couldn't even do an X-ray. She told me she'd get me with someone to schedule an X-ray and ultrasound and order the labs. The person who was attempting to order the imaging said she had no luck with Austin Radiological and tried calling Baylor Scott & White in Round Rock and she gave up after being on hold for five minutes. She said she sent a stat request for me to be called. I finally received a call the next morning. I waited over thirty minutes for the labs that the NP wanted before I gave up. While waiting, I asked to speak with someone about the wait times and the lack of coordination. The charge nurse explained that they're short on radiology staff and that on Wednesdays, there's only one lab tech on duty. She gave all the standard customer service pat phrases and said if I wasn't happy, I could contact patient relations. I am confident that patient relations has the same lines memorized too. In short, the facility isn't staffed well enough to handle both routine care for the providers and for an urgent care operation. The lack of coordination and the short staffing really make this location best suited for routine care. (And my PCP at this location is excellent.) But for anything more complex than a routine visit, you need to go elsewhere. Had I known of the limits to what they could provide, I'd have gone elsewhere from the start. And despite the NP being worried about a clot, my symptoms resolved overnight and, with a relatively quick consult with Dr. Google, matched much of the description of a Charley Horse. As a clinician myself, I recognize the need to rule out more serious conditions, but the particular finding I noted is classic presentation of a Charley Horse. I'll come back for my regular PCP care, but will be going elsewhere for anything semi acute that requires a same day visit."
