"Dr. Feba Thomas sets the stage for what every healthcare professional should aspire to be. Her dedication to her patients is unmatched, as I have many times seen her updating my file well into the night. Not only does she possess a wealth of medical knowledge, but her meticulous attention to detail truly sets her apart. Every interaction with Dr. Thomas shows her undeniable commitment to her patients' well-being. She takes the time to listen attentively, ensuring that no concern goes unnoticed. Dr. Feba Thomas is an exemplary physician that really cares and one that you can trust to have your back. Those who have the privilege of being under her care are truly fortunate."
"Please lower the volume of your alarm, it plays ALL NIGHT LONG and also ALL WEEKEND LONG and I think it's highly disrespectful of your administration to ignore the many attempts our community has made to find a solution. People can hear your alarm playing on repeat INSIDE OF THEIR APARTMENTS and let's be honest, you're not scaring away unhoused people from your property."
"I visited the clinic Tuesday afternoon for a neck and throat swelling and Dr/Nurse Mendez barely touched the sides of my face, gave me a throat swab for strep (which came back negative) and prescribed me pain meds for the pain. When I continued to voice my concerns she said, “I don’t see anything but will also prescribe antibiotics in case it progresses.” My question is, if what progresses? How can you prescribe medications if you don’t know what it is? I declined the pain meds bc I am a mother, my son is 7. I can’t be drowsy all day taking pain med and antibiotics for an unknown illness. By Wednesday the pain intensified accompanied by fever chills, body aches and the worst head/ear ache I have ever had. Here I am laying in bed treating myself because the nurses and doctors never listen to me. They take one look at my chart and see that I’m in therapy and proceed to ask me how well my sessions are going, as if to imply I’m just being anxious and nothings wrong. This has been my experience every. Single. Time. My therapist Denise Martinez-Rivas is AMAZING, and so is Dr. Reddy. Everyone else, not so much. I normally don’t write reviews bc if the doctors aren’t listening to my concerns about my health why would they listen to my complaints? I am in tears and in pain, and my son hasn’t been outside in days bc I cannot take him. I’m suffering when I don’t have to and it seems extremely negligent to prescribe me pain meds and antibiotics for an illness you have not discovered. Judging by her rushed approach she either didn’t want to take the time or couldn’t take the time to hear my concerns and here it is the weekend, I can’t go to urgent care bc I cannot afford it and the emergency room is going to do the same thing, slap a bandage on it send me on my way. This can’t possibly how you treat your patients and I don’t want to be that person but it’s giving, “we aren’t concerned about black bodies.” Black women are frequently disregarded when it comes to our pain and health for reasons too extensive to post here but I will say this….I matter, my pain and concerns matter and they’re cute little acronym that stands for treating patients despite the severity of concern was absolutely not met. I’m tired and praying to get better soon because I have work soon (Im the attendance clerk at a middle school). That’s the last place I need to be while sick. They will replace me as quick as they hired me because attendance rules the money, they’re not losing title one funding because I cannot be there, and I cannot have that either. This affects my livelihood as well as my health and possibly the health of my son. I didn’t want to do this but here it is. My throat is swollen my ears are ringing and my head is pounding all because no one wanted to listen to me. The entire appointment took less than 15 mins, that is not ok."
"So disappointed.. my baby had a check up and I completely forgot about it but I always get reminders. This time I did not my baby is already late for her check ups because her doctor is fully booked ALLL THE TIME. I have to wait up to 2 months for an appt . I don’t understand? She has been a patient with her since she was born now she got to go with somebody else for her check ups . So disappointed from this clinic."
