"We made an appt at the 1826 location in far south austin for our child, after a knee injury. We received a call the day of the appt informing us that the appt had to be canceled. we went ahead and made another appt. Apparently Crum spilts his time between different offices in differnt towns. Unfortunately, if your a patient you will suffer as a result. The second appt was scedualed and upon arrival the staff was very confused because we didn't have a drs referral , or X-rays, this toke multiple staff members to figure out. Not all the staff knew the difference between how referrals work and that not all policies require referals. Thank fully they figured it out. After 45 minutes of waiting in the room after the appointment was supose to start, I went to the front desk to check the status and I was informed the dr had just arrived and he would start making his round and his appointment would be running late. Based on the 45 minutes we had already waited plus the 15 minutes of waiting prior to the appt, we were not wanting or willing to wait another 45minutes or longer and get stuck in the Y in oak hill traffic. In general this office was very dirty, it looked like their puke on one of the chairs in the lobby and all the pictures on wall looked like it came from a grarge sale. The room looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. At this point our family was done waiting and we were ready to leave. I noticed dr Crum chatting with the staff and felt i should let him know about our experience and why we're were leaving. I was very surprised, he lacked any audible response. we started leaving and he started to mutter something under his breath. Wow! I'm so glad we left! I would not recommend Dr Crum or austin orthopedic specialist."
