"Excellent, very customer oriented. All staff quite helpful for a guests first visit. Would recommend all vets not in the VA system start here."
"The staff and the front desk receptionist (Patricia and Stephanie) at the lab department were SUPER FRIENDLY AND AWESOME! I never laughed so much, and felt very comfortable while waiting. I had an absolute blast as a first time experience at the VA office. Thank you so much!!!"
"This VA saved my vision! I just wanted to show my appreciation to Christine Austin and her team at the Cedar Park VA for everything they did to make sure that my Retinal Detachment surgery was successful. Words cannot express my gratitude, thank you again!"
"Both my husband and I (have tried to) receive care at the CP clinic for about 2 years. Between us we have tried 3 different primary care providers and multiple mental health providers. I can't say that every employee is horrible, the nurses are mostly very kind and friendly, but the doctors are just so horrible at their jobs. They are obviously very unknowledgable about the symptoms and conditions they are supposed to be treating, they are arrogant and just want to write up some random diagnosis, and prescribe the same random meds, for everything. I assume this is to make it appear like they are providing care and doing their job. It's a good thing we don't have any serious medical conditions because I would NEVER trust any of the pcps that we've seen to treat them. It's pretty scary that these people are allowed to practice medicine so unmonitered. Dr. Irizzary consistently will be 1-2 hrs late for appointments and when he does get there obviouslyhasnt learned anything about his trade since probablybasic field medical training in the army. He has no clue what he's talking about but will listen to your heart and check your knees to say he performed an exam. Basari I think her name is was the most rude and condescending provider I've ever experienced (to my husband). He was going to his appointments but not getting the care he needed so I went with him to figure out what the problem was. I sat there in the appointment in complete shock. I tried to file a complaint and bring up that no private Healthcare provider would ever be able to treat patients the way she does or they would be out of business, but there is ZERO oversight or care about what's going on in these appointments. As long as they push people through, take some notes, and adhere to the VA's jacked up system they are allowed to keep mistreating and misdiagnosing veterans. The facility is beautiful, it's such a shame that they can't put the same resources and effort into the providers."
"My husband was on hold for 2 hours yesterday. I wish that was an exaggeration but it isn’t. Two hours and no one answered and he finally gave up. I understand that people get busy but two hours is insane. We have a serious mental health crisis among our veterans and they can’t even get an appointment scheduled with their doctor. It is truly a disservice to them."
