"All the support staff was great. From the front desk, the MA that worked me, and the lab tech were all very nice and worked efficiently. I did not have a great experience with the provider I saw. He talked over me and made me feel like I was wasting his time. He didn’t even examen me. Who goes in for abdominal pain and the provider doesn’t even do at least the minimum exam on a patient? Was not a good first impression for my first visit here."
"Front office staff great, medical assistant great, doctors bedside manner is terrible. Once I had a positive COVID test there was no further pt examination. What is the point of PPE if you’re going to just give meds and that’s it. One would think that a patient would still get an examination. A person can have more things going on than one."
"Last Visit: 2.12.24 I’m going to preface this review that I was referred to this clinic because my PCM at Liberty Hill Physician Associates retired a couple of weeks ago and I found out today. What brought me to the clinic was internal pain that developed after a digestive issue that’s been keeping up at night the last 4 days. Pros: - They were able to see me today. - Staff: Front desk staff was thorough. Nurse was great; attentive and seemed pretty efficient; Lab tech was also great. Compassionate, quick, no unnecessary pain. Check out was also quick and painless. - They took some labs which hopefully will give me some closure on this issue. Cons: - The wait. This is completely relative to me as plenty of people came in and were seen prior to me being seen so I’ll assume they had appointments but it sucked having to wait the little over an hour I did. —————- At the end of the day, I was seen but I still have pain, and despite the fact that I feel a level of snark creeping up within me, as this is not my normal clinic I’m going to reserve my full judgement until I receive the results of my labs and keep my criticism as constructive as possible. To the front desk, nurse, lab tech, and check out staff, great job. Thank you! For the provider (if this sounds like you, look inward): - It might be good to advise the patient what measures they can take to reduce their pain when that’s the reason why they came in. Give them courses of action. - If it is recommended that a patient doesn’t take pain medication, say why or provide a course of action analysis to determine how to most feasibly treat their symptoms. - Just because a patient came to your office for a day, remember that they are also a paying customer and give them their money’s worth of medical advice and treat them warmly as they may become a long term paying customer. - Yeah, you asked if I had any other questions but, remember when you told me you were doing something for “completeness”? Do you think a patient will feel like you’re doing anything besides checking a block after that point? The more I consider my care, the more I’m disappointed in the provider but, that doesn’t prevent them from being better. Consider if this is still what you want to do."
"Great experience from the moment I walked in. The front desk was helpful and friendly. The nurse was awesome and explained everything to me and asked question to make sure they knew exactly how I was feeling and what test needed to be done . The Dr. Kamal Vats was direct, helpful and informative. Telling me things that would help with my flu, some techniques to massage and help with the sinus congestion as well as making sure to eat the right foods to help with the recovery. This is my first time visit and I’m not disappointed. Great office and personnel. Thank you"
"I'm in my 60s so adjusting to communicating through the patient portal took some time but it's so much more efficient and you know you're talking directly with your Dr. Danielle Keys is my provider and she is the best I've ever had. She's a great diagnostician and she listens to how I feel and what I think before deciding what I need. I know I'm in good hands and that's half the battle at my age. Try Northwest Diagnostic yourself you won't regret it."
