We Love how he doesn’t just throw medication at everything, he’s very much someone who likes to discuss with the patient what the best options are in regards to your lifestyle as well. . "What I love about Dr. Davlapur is that he "gets" runners. Lots of doctors will take the "Well if it hurts, stop doing it until it stops hurting" approach. Dr. Davlapur understands that you have an upcoming event or you have goals and his approach is to tell you exactly what is happening with your joint/muscle, as he has that depth of knowledge. Then he helps you figure out what you can still accomplish and what you need to do to get there. If he were to ever tell me to shut it down, I would believe him because with him it's a last resort."

"I definitely recommend seeing Dr. Davlapur as a physician he has helped me for years and sees my family as well. The only problem I have is no one ever answers from the option of “speak with the clinical team” and the “schedule change or cancel” option. Everytime I call to make an appointment with the front desk, 9 times out of 10 I’m always hung up on once or twice after they sit on the phone not saying anything. I have to call a lot in order to get an answer. Even answering and asking to be put on hold is better than hanging up on someone. This morning and yesterday I have called 12 times and was not able to get through until Veronica answered nicely and made my appointment for me. Other than that Dr. Davlapur is an excellent physician I have never had any issues with him."

"This has been by far my worst scheduling experience. I was rescheduled twice the morning of the appointment (back to back weeks). I am in extreme discomfort and was recommended to Dr. Davlapur by the Memorial Hermann sports facility. His staff confirmed with me via email, text and phone (3 ways). I understand that nowadays everyone wants to check patients remotely, and if the economics of coming in the office for 1 or 2 patients do not make sense, the doctors simply reschedule. My only complaint is - If you do not want to see patients in office, simply specify upfront. If the staff confirms with me 3 different ways, just check with the doctor once. This nonchalant attitude is unacceptable and unprofessional. Patients should be treated with greater empathy and it starts with the doctor setting the right expectation."
