"I was with Dr. Luu before she went on maternity leave at Westlake Clinic. Then I got word that she had returned and both my husband and I couldn't wait to get back in her office. She was so nice and kind and extremely caring and patient at the time. When I got back in here care, she changed up a few things in my diabetes regimen with great benefits. However, her demeanor has changed a bit, she smiles less and gives me a hard time about refills sometimes. People change for many reasons so I'm not saying she's not a good doctor. She's just not well suited for my needs anymore."

"My husband and I have been going to Tina for a couple of years. We were patients back when she practicing at the Westlake clinic. Over the years, it seems that her demeanor with patients has gotten worse. She used to be very kind and friendly. Now both me and my husband have left feeling defeated on several different occasions. We pay for her help, but it seems like she doesn't have enough time or patience to help. She is very quick to refer you to a specialist for simple things, but I suspect it is because she makes money for each referral. The wait time is very short, which is a plus. I've never had any problem with the office staff. The office is always nice and tidy. If you have a few issues that you want to discuss with the doctor, be prepared to have the MA tell you that the doctor may not have time to discuss all your issues, and that you'll need to schedule more appointments. Even Tina at one point told me that I needed to seek a specialist because "if [she] spent all her time with [me], then the rest of [her] patients would be mad!" She's been unprofessional on several visits. This last time, my husband had enough and now we are seeking a new PCP."
