"Don't bother. I just tried to make an appointment and they don't do appointments at all. It's 1st come 1st serve only. Which is asinine, especially for mental health care. Absolutely worthless!!!"
"The most unorganized place I ever use, 0 customer service, no benefit of the service with them, long time wait for any service even if you have schedule appointment. my advice for them to shut done or if you care about your self don't west your time and find different place that will serve you with good manner."
"My caseworker Cassandra is very kind! She went above and beyond the other day taking me to a clinic for my high blood pressure spent half of the day running me around to help me with my prescriptions very grateful!"
"I began at Texana to get back into therapy for my depression and anxiety because I was informed they are state-funded and great for low-income people. While this may be somewhat true, they are very reluctant to give people like me the help we truly need. They do not accommodate well for or respect LGBTQ+ or gender-nonconforming people, even though this is a standard part of training for mental health services workers today. They deadname and misgender trans people intentionally and are generally rude. They also push very hard to put new patients on psychiatric medication. When patients politely decline medication their psychiatrist is rude and ends appointments early. And I had to wait nearly two months despite calling their crisis hotline on three separate occasions to see a therapist (which was what I went in for in the first place). I understand a state fund shortage and labor shortage to a certain extent but this does not excuse the rudeness and apathy toward people experiencing mental illness that I have encountered up to this point so far. I have met with my therapist only once so far and she is friendly, I hope for progress and improvement with her but all other staff members I have spoken with have been unhelpful or nasty to me. If you can afford better care somewhere else unlike me, go get it."
"The lady Maria in billing is the rudest lady I've ever spoken to. She literally threatened to withhold my daughters services if I didn't pay right away. She was just very rude, uncaring, nasty and threatening. If you have a question about your bill she will not call you back. But if you owe she will call you and harass you until you pay. She will threaten to take you off the schedule and end your mental health services if you don't pay when she calls. You would think this place is broke the way she acts.I hope you never have to deal with her. I hope you always have the money to pay these people. My bill said my payment isn't due until oct 15 today is Oct.2 she threatened to cancel my daughters appointment in dec. If I didn't pay today. She's the worst human being on the planet."
