"Dr. Vera is wonderful and takes her time with patients, but I cancelled due to change of circumstances and they billed me for things I already thought I had paid for in full. I paid my membership fee monthly and paid out of pocket for additional lab work in the office. When I cancelled, they billed me more for the services rendered since it was cancelled prior to a year of having the membership. I emailed them to clarify a few weeks ago and no response unfortunately. When I signed up I was told you can cancel at any time, as long as you provide a 30 day notice (which is definitely understandable.) Being charged individually for appointments and lab work was never mentioned. So be sure you really read your contract and understand it before you sign. If I would have known that the membership didn't count for anything unless I had it for over a year, I would likely not have signed up. Just be aware, you will essentially be paying out of pocket for lab work and visits if you cancel prior to a year. Again, the office is beautiful and Dr. Vera is great, but I did feel a bit slighted by a lack of communication from the billing department."
