MinuteClinic at CVS

"Its wild this place has never been robbed. I walked in nobody was around. I don't know how this places stays in business. This review is about their Minute Clinic. My company suggested CVS to do have our wellness testing done and I was impressed with CVS even having this clinic as an option. I loved how I was able to check in and fill out my information even my insurance card. I assumed it would be seamless and efficient. I assumed!!! leading to the date I had 20 notifications for early check in. I literally checked in 20 times. 30 min before my appoinment as I was waiting in the parking lot got a text and an email for check in. Checked in. Walked in 15 min early and was asked to check in at the kiosk checked in. Staff asked who I was and if I had an appointment LOL. When I stated yes and that I checked in 3 times before coming and when she asked me to. LOL She still asked?!?!? She asked me what I was in for, I thought it was wild all that pre check she had no idea what I was there for. I stated I was there for a wellness check. I was denied my appointment because they don't have any printing service to print off the PDF of the form I had for her given 2023 we can just email forms. As most medical facilities are asking to have forms emailed. LOL My suggestion have your paperwork but don't go to CVS just wait it out with professionals at a real facility. This Minute Clinic is ideal but we need professionals with printing services and what was the point in filling out all the pre screening information if the clinic "would never receive it" . If CVS is getting funding to have a clinic!!!!! They found a loop hole."

"I wish 0 stars was an option! We were in town for the weekend when my daughter became sick. We visited the clinic, and the provider immediately told us that this walk in clinic wasn’t accepting walk ins, because ‘She was by herself’ And had appts. I asked her if I could wait to see if the next appt showed up. She wasn’t thrilled, but said yes, we could wait. She went inside the office, and immediately returned saying that is their policy to refer children out to another facility. This is blatantly not true. The website has an entire section dedicated to children’s wellness. Save yourself time, and go some where else. This location has a LAZY, UNCARING provider who clearly did not take her oath seriously."

"I went to this clinic this morning. I wasn't feeling well. I had a terrible headache and some chest discomfort as well as head and neck pain. My stomach was also upset. They took my blood pressure once, saying it was 126/81. I suffer from high blood pressure. My BP hasn't been that low in over 8 years even with medication. They told me to take Tylenol and Imodium and sent me on my way. My husband insisted that I go get seen somewhere else. I went to TexMed Clinic a few minutes away. They took my BP and it was 217/137. The told me to go to the ER immediately. I could have suffered a major heart attack or stroke if I would have just gone home. These people are dangerous. Don't go there."

"Very impressed by my experience here. I'm from out of town and could not schedule a visit with my primary doctor. I scheduled an appointment for 10:30 but walked in two hours early to see if they could see me - they happily did. The NP (Christinia) was attentive and went above and beyond to address my medical needs. Very thankful."

"Super easy. Honestly this is run way better and more efficiently than most doctors offices I’ve been to. Made an appointment the day before, showed up about 5 minutes early and they were able to see me as soon as I was done checking in. I was in and out pretty quickly and the staff was very competent and knowledgeable. Sonya (hope I’m spelling that right) was super friendly and made me feel at ease. I’ll definitely be coming back here for spur of the moment issues whenever I can’t get in to see my doctor in a timely manner."
