"The staff was really nice, Brittany was welcoming and kind and the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. When it came to medical help, honestly, it was terribly unhelpful, and I left feeling,yet again, unheard, unaided, and the suffering I've been in for years was devalued. I think Michelle has some difficulty understanding how incredibly harmful it is to not be heard and believed. I left, holding back tears. The initial plan was to update blood work and go from there, but just as important as getting more blood work is, I also need a doctor who will hear and believe me. It was so disheartening when she insisted that I had depression because of the 10 question paperwork. Unfortunately, chronic illnesses, pain, and consistent caloric deficit have a lot of similarities to depression on paper. I'm exhausted with trying to treat problems I don't have with medication that doesn't work."
