"I call the Grand Prairie number in the web page to make an appointment. They can’t do it and the number turns out to be a call center. Why? I call again 4 days later to try again the lady now wants to transfer me to the ft.worth va. She can’t get through to the 3 numbers she tries so she will give me the numbers to keep trying and not help me. Va is a crooked system, lazy no good people. That are in the wrong profession. Who can I tell does anyone read these complaints and try to contact us to fix or rectify the situation.? is there a number out there for the VA where the person on the other end of the line will help you?"
"Dr Yusuf OMG, what is he doing at that clinic, I use to have super great Dr Le and don’t know why Va moved him and ever since it has been a mess with this doctor Yusuf. 00 percent of my appointments gets canceled a day before and nothing gets when you see him"
"Dr. Yosef is be far the worst. Won’t help nor keep you updated. Will wait for hours to see him. He will send you for testing but never respond with results. When you go to see him he will be confused and ask, what’s wrong with you again? No idea what this man is doing here, but it’s not treating patients. God bless the VA for providing him with a job when no one else would. In all seriousness though, re-evaluate."
"I’ve only been once and I honestly hope that the next time I go things will be different but I know they won’t. Me, my mom, and a friend of hers all have the same doctor. We’ll just call her/him Dr. P. I thought maybe it was just me and my lack of sleep that maybe caused such such a verbal altercation, I’m the one who blames himself even if he isn’t in the wrong, until I spoke with my mom and her friend. I told them what happened, and they instantly told me my doctors name. They shared some of their similar experiences and I knew then that it wasn’t just me. Well Dr. P is very rude and schedules you for an hours time but rushes you that whole time like your story doesn’t matter. They told me that they have another patient coming soon and I almost cursed them out on this alone. My story can’t be told in an hour. Also my next appointment, according to them, wouldn’t be until around six months out! What? So I’m suppose to wait and finish this later? They talk to you in a way that makes it seem like you don’t know anything, and when you give them that same energy they want to tell you that you have mental health or anger issues. Now to some that may not seem like much but when you have both of those issues and are being talked to a certain type of way it hits different. I’ve never been so disrespected by a “professional” in all my days. And in the moments when I showed signs of intelligence, the looks and excuses I heard from their way of thinking made me feel like this has to of be some kind of a joke. It gets to the point where I was so mad I was making noises to answer questions so as not to say something I would regret later. A nurse had to come into the room to basically babysit us and i guess kind of ease some tension. The nurses presence though helped greatly because now Dr. P was trying to act professional, while still though trying to make me out to be the one with the attitude issue. I knew this was coming so I made sure that everything that I said was spoken very clearly and that the nurse knew that the answers to a lot of these questions were given multiple times before and what Dr. P’s responses had been so far. The Doctor surprisingly didn’t deny too much of what I said and we were able to end on a highly tense but somewhat respectable note. The rest of the start, I had no problems with. They were all respectful, everything was done in a timely manner, and besides the doctor I see nothing bad or wrong at this facility. I wanted to give four stars but after having to repeat and think about all that happened and was said, the context used, etc, three was the best I could do."
"I have recently changed PCP's from Dallas to GP to have something closer to home. Although I have not seen my new PCP yet, scheduling my first appointment was super fast with the staff here. Not the usual 3-4 month min wait I'm used to with the VA in Dallas. I was able to obtain an appointment for the following WEEK! Additionally, I showed up this morning for my blood draw and was in and out in 5 min. Not like the "take a number" and wait 40 min for them to call it.... so here are some Pros so far from my few interactions with this Facility. Pro's 1. Staff is super friendly and helpful. 2. Parking always available and close to the facility(not like big Dallas). 3. Scheduling is Fast. 4. Quick blood Draw 5. Free Coffee! 6. Vending Machines. 7. MHR services available. Hope this helps"
