"I can't speak for Dr. Mathews as I've been his patient for over a year and he has been able to see me only once. He is always busy so the staff will make you see other doctors. Another negative is the staff will call you to move up your appointments. On one occasion I was moved up twice in the same week. I switched doctors after that."
"I NEVER write reviews. Ever. Many of these reviews state patients were unaware of high uncalled for medical bills issued to them for no valid reason. I would give zero stars if I could. Dr Ashley So had me do an X-ray of my back to confirm i have scoliosis, which is what i came in for initially. She called me later to tell me that what she saw in the X-ray was that my heart was enlarged and that shes concerned, she referred me to a cardiologist, Dr Holland, immediately for an electrocardiogram to see whats going on, once i got to Hollands appt, Holland scheduled me for a stress test before we even found out the EKG results. If the EKG results were normal no $275 stress test was needed, so why did they schedule that for no valid reason? They made me sign a consent form agreeing that i pay what the cost is without actually telling me what my insurance would cover, or even making it aware that it might be costly. They kept asking me completely irrelevant questions that had nothing to do with what I initially came for (back problems related to scoliosis, nor did they have any idea what was wrong with my heart and had no symptoms to go off of, which is why they kept trying to schedule me tests after tests not knowing what direction we are headed. Now after insurance deductibles I owe $500. On top of that they wanted me to schedule a sleep test, I started feeling suspicious so I asked them how much it would cost me, they told me over $200, I told them that was outrageous and that i would like to cancel. unfortunately I wish I was suspicious from the beginning, because my heart was 100% normal, which should have been determined before a sleep test and an uncalled for stress test. I should have checked the reviews about these doctors before choosing a new PCP, many of these reviews say patients are being robbed of their paychecks because of such deceptive practices."
"I made an appt for an annual physical and the nurse asked me to get my lab work done first then follow up with my doctor. Drove 30 min and then was told by another nurse that I needed to see the doctor first and need to make another appt in a different day. Apparently, there is a miscommunication among the staff at the expense of patients."
"Horrible staff members very rude and unhelpful. I went to have my son checked here for an ear infection and the staff charged me over $150 bill. When I told them that I am fully covered, they made me pay the bill anyway, not listening to a word I was saying. Later when I talked to my insurance company they told me that I was fully covered and didn't have to pay a penny out of my pocket. When confronted again, the staff just refused to take any responsibility and acted very rude to me. The one star is only for the doctors there but the staff is rude and not helping at all."
"Ok - I actually love my doctor here and have been very happy with everything except one thing: the DVD of my 20 week sonogram. I was asked to bring in a DVD-R to have my 20 week sonogram burned to. I assumed (I know never assume anything) that DVD meant playable on a DVD player - a video of the full sonogram viewed. I WAS WRONG. It is just still images placed onto the DVD so I have a digital copy of them. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED IN ALL MY LIFE. This being my first child, I want to record everything. My friends showed us a DVD of their 20 week sonogram - a video file that showed what they saw at their appointment. So I got super excited when mine told me - yes you get a DVD. NOBODY EVER SAID JUST STILL IMAGES. So, great doctor experience so far - but I WANT MY DVD."
