JPS Health Center : Stop Six-Walter B. Barbour

"Each time I go, whenever I had a follow up appointment scheduled to see my health care physician (very kind & laidback provider), the employees working at that JPS location have never given me any kind of issues at all as far as I can remember… it’s the other patients who tend to stir up minor problems with the doctors there. Other than that, my visits never take too long & neither do the waiting times while the pharmacists are re-filling up my prescription. At first, I wouldn’t know where to go or where I was supposed to be at in the building since each part of the building’s interior looks similar & there’s no signs showing which department your located in but otherwise, I think the services & assistance found/given here are wonderful!"

"The Dr and nursing staff should do better in communicating with one another about patients meds and health issues. It makes no sense to get calls several weeks later about side effects of meds and getting alternative meds to suffice your needs. And why I'm in an uncleaned room!!!"

"This lady at Dental clinic registration is very rude. So I went up there for my tooth to be extracted. I got there before 8 as they instruct. Since I wasn't among the first 10 patients, I was told to leave my phone number and I will be called in the afternoon to come back to see the doc. So I left. The lady called at 10am. I wasn't near my phone so I did not pick up. I saw a missed call 5 minutes after the call. There was no voicemail. I tried to call back but could not get anyone in the clinic to pick up. I then drove over there...took me 30 min. Now, when I got to the clinic, the same lady who told me I will get a call in the afternoon, stated that since they called me and I did not pick up, they gave my slot to someone else! and there is nothing she can do. Really? Why didn't she leave a voicemail and say don't show up? She specifically said that I will get a call in the afternoon and that all those patients who arrived at the clinic at 8am will be served. I am a tarrant county resident. I am a homeowner. I pay a lot of taxes to this county. I deserve to get services offered by the county. I am very disappointed with the treatment I got from this lady. Doesn't she know I pay for her salary?Someone who is ready to serve people should be hired in her spot. she is not up to the job."
