"First visit was great, doctor I had was great and nurses are great. So as long as you don’t need them respond to messages, alls good. Dallas VA is much better option- staff is more responsive and professional. Who would of thought."

"If possible, please attempt to seek care elsewhere. This place is not worth the time and frustration that you will undoubtedly experience. Beware that patients are "just a number" and you will be treated as such. -12/21/2023: During a virtual appointment on 12/20/2023, I was advised by a clinic social worker that I should walk into the clinic on 12/21/2023 for medication management. He did warn me that, as a walk-in, there may be a wait. I patiently waited for 90 minutes before asking the front desk about the appointment status. I was informed that, due to the front office staff being busy, I was never even checked in. This is an egregious lack of awareness on the front desk team's part. Suggestion for them: Focus on the patient experience and always be aware of who is waiting in the siting area. If they see patients waiting for more than 20-30 minutes, they should proactively provide the patient with a status update. The patient shouldn't have to approach the front desk team for a status update. The front desk team should be willing to SERVE THE PATIENT by getting up from their seats themselves and informing the patient. -Early 12/2023 while awaiting lab work: I patiently waited 30 minutes to get called back despite noticing that patients that arrived after me were getting called back by the lab technician. When I finally get called back by the lab technician, she apologized and admitted that she lost track of my paperwork. -There have been at least 5 occasions where I called the clinic, waited to speak with someone for 7-8 minutes, and then get hung up on. From reading other reviews, I realize I am not the only patient that has experienced this. -The provider I have been assigned since 2018 has always come across as transactional (i.e., I'm just a number). The provider has no eye contact and is impersonal to the point of making the appointment uncomfortable. The experience with this provider was so poor that I requested to switch providers. -Outside of my annual physical, I try to avoid this place to the point where I have gone out of my way to use my private insurance. I would rather pay out of pocket than have to deal with the frustration. -The 1 star review is because there are some providers (ex., nurse Grace K., clinic director Amanda R., social worker David G.) that seem sincere and caring. If Google allowed, I'd rate the overall clinic less than 1 star."

"Today is October 5th2023. I called the Denton VA two days ago to request an appointment with mental health. After waiting for a day, I got a call from the mental health scheduler at approximately 1515, she stated that she would contact me before close business yesterday which was October 4th, I just called again and got passed around on the phone to several different people. These people don’t give a damn about veterans, I am tired of the lies, they use us as numbers to be checked off for their evaluations"

"I use this location as a local Primary Care Facility. I have had my primary care physician switched twice without me being advised when it was done. I was in limbo waiting for service review was only then told that the physician had left service at this location. The new primary care physician seems to be okay. She has asked necessary questions I think to get information needed to complete my basic care. Compared to other locations that I have been too, this location is very efficient with time. The staff here seem to care about the job they do and the veterans they help. I have called for needed things and was able to get those things done via this location."
