"Was there today at 1:35 for madame web, went to the concession stand to order a new item that I presume was just added to the menu and so I placed my order with a blonde girl who obviously wasn’t paying or attention or was just untrained enough to not know how to properly submit an order, she sent us to the pick up counter at the right of the concession stand and we waited there for 20 minutes missing a lot of the beginning of the movie and watch plenty of people who had orders larger than mine and ordered after me receive theirs. So after waiting we ask a guy working behind the counter and he tells us the order hadn’t been placed."
"I recently watched the Bollywood movie "Jawan" at the Imax here. The sound and picture quality is good. However, I was disappointed by the seating arrangement. I expected the Imax seat should be recliner, even if not recliner at least more comfortable. But the seat were not comfortable at all. The chairs are straight like almost 90 degrees."
"My family & extended family went to see Wonka on New Year's Day here. I've not been to this theater in about ten years. We had other choices in theaters but decided on this venue due to time constraints. I was shocked to see only one person at the ticket booth and only one person at the concession. There was a long line of people filling in behind us at the ticket booth and even a longer line at the concession. Even though I was inside and in line at the concession 15 minutes before previews even began, the one guy couldn't serve all quickly to accommodate. We arrived to get our seats just as the movie was about to play. I enjoy the previews as part of my entertainment so I missed that due to the long wait. The workstation was filled with cash registers and terminals, and no one was there to staff the booth. My 3rd disappointment was the napkin and butter station needed to be in a more convenient location, having to step around people in this tight space. Even though I smelled the popcorn entering the theater, once the guy gave me my popcorn order, the popcorn was room temp, not even warm, and had no salt for flavor. Furthermore, The seating was confusing, with two isles for a letter, and an entire family took our seats; they did not understand, so we sat just beneath them. When the movie began, a whole other family came, and we were sitting in their seats, so they moved down; it was frustrating. I didn't realize this theater had not updated seats over the last ten years, and there was no recline, TV tray, or elbow room. The theater was cold, and it was cold outside; therefore, I was uncomfortable the entire movie. Lastly, I got up to use the restroom about an hour in; I could not locate the restroom near me; everything looked the same and seemed like dead ends wherever I turned. I had to trek up to the front and then go back. I should have dropped morsels of crumbs leading me back like Hansel & Gretel as I couldn't read my ticket. It was microscopic, and there were no labels on the doors as to what movie was playing. Having not been to this location in ten years, I was a bit turned around and, as a result, missed more of the film than I hoped to. With all these optimum other choices in theaters, needless to say, I won't be back to this one. The only positive thing is that the gal who came in after the movie to clean was friendly and happy and wished us a good evening and a Happy New Year. She is the two bright stars."
"AMC Gulf Pointe 30 is one of my favorite theaters for several reasons. I love that their staff and employees make everyone feel comfortable no matter what age they are. One of the things I like is that they keep their theater very clean and it makes the experience even better. I went a while ago to the Eras Tour Movie on premier night and everything went super smoothly."
"I know that they have had poor reviews before, but we had a good time. I have gone twice in the last 2 months and have had zero complaints about anything other than the price of the food. We eat before we come and share a popcorn. Our theater wasn't hot like some of the comments stated, but we did go at night. I didn't see any bugs at the concession stand, but any mess they had was created by the guests, not the staff. We were satisfied with our visit and would definitely return."
