"I am very sad to come and edit my original post. I have been going for months and I do love Dr. Davis, but nothing is convenient when working with the staff. I understand they are short staffed, but I can never have my medications sent to the pharmacy monthly without issues. I am always calling, leaving messages for days and days with no return calls. They do not send scripts in a timely manner, they do not assist to see what pharmacies in the area have the medication needed, if you need prior authorization- that is the biggest headache as it takes so much follow up. I am just frustrated because I truly want to use him as my MD but I can't deal with the lack of follow through and empathy on the staff's end."
"Let me first say - I LOVE THE PORTAL! I have the ability to send messages to him and staff and get a prompt response. I have not taken the time to do this yet so I am doing it now. Kevin and his staff do not get recognized enough for their hard work and dedication to their patients. I started going to them about 6 years or so ago and have referred many friends and family. Starting from the greeting at the front desk with a smile all the way to Kevin actually coming in the office. Kevin actually takes the time to listen to you (or you blubbering) to help you however is needed. Kevin and his staff are always there when their patient really need them and will sit down and listen to me fully. I cannot tell you a doctor I have had in the last 20 years that did that. I did not feel I was rushed in getting out how I was feeling. If he feels it is something you should be referred to someone else for, the staff works hard to make that happen. THANK YOU KEVIN AND STAFF for all you do. Those words do not seem like enough but please know you mean a lot to me and Stephen. I am sure there are others but I cannot speak for them. AND dont listen to the man who has no manners when writing his comments. He could have gotten his point across without name calling (Karen by FAR is not a man hater), putting people down, etc. It is easy to be a bully and hide behind a computer."
"Recently switched to Kevin as PCP, all prescriptions called in immediately easy to contact through the portal and by phone. Everyone I have had contact with in Bridgeport are great."
"Regrettably, The practice is growing rapidly, and the staff is struggling to keep up. I have been a patient of Kevin's for many years, but approximately two months ago, I went without my prescribed medication for a full two weeks due to my inability to reach anyone at the practice or receive a return call. More recently, I encountered the same issue, enduring another two-week period during which I couldn't establish contact or receive any callbacks. On a Friday, I personally visited the office and spoke with the receptionist, who assured me that Kevin would address the matter that very day. However, an additional two weeks passed without any resolution. Frustrated, I left a review expressing my dissatisfaction with the lack of response. In response to my Google review, I was informed that I needed to schedule an appointment before obtaining my medications, with an email address provided for scheduling purposes. I promptly sent an email four days ago, even though I've already been without one of my medications for two weeks. Unfortunately, as of now, I still have not received any response or a callback."
"I have been under Kevin's care for almost ( if not over) five years and in that time, if I needed something he and his staff made it happen for me, even when I was working in San Antonio and had health issues. Kevin has has NEVER failed to listen to me or take of me. Of late, there has been an issue in communication; my frustration in that situation ( I am 100% an active participant in my care), and stuff that is only our business that has led to an impasse to the point that I did ask for an appointment ( its in the email) to come in a discuss the concerns. That offer was not chosen. That being said, I have chosen to move on to a different provider and practice as such was my only option. However, Kevin takes care of his patients and I will not disparage him or his practice over our issue. I will say this. I spent 10 years as a clinical workflow analyst ( I have been a RN for 30 years) for the US Army Medical Command, meaning my job was to evaluate clinics in how they functioned; what issues the clinics had, and my recommendations for improvements. What I have seen over the years ( no I am not there everyday, but I did offer to do it for free one day a few years ago) is a practice that has grown ( yes, big time), but a failure to grow the practice which is very , very important not only for clinical operations, but patient care. Not able to answer phones; practicing in two locations, and many other things affects everyone. I digress. I can say this, if I needed something regardless of the current situation, I know Kevin would take care of me regardless of our current issues. OBTW, the person who said Karen hates men and all of his other diatribe is lost in the sauce as that staff ( especially Ashley) are rock stars. So, I had to move on to a different provider; however, that is not a reflection upon Kevin or his ethics; just an issue between the two of us that will stay there."
