"We came for my daughter's field trip. The zoo was so overpacked that we had to park and walk from the overfill parking lot. Took forever to get a ticket, and it was so crammed that I signed her out of her class about 30 mins into the field trip. I'm shocked that the zoo allowed all of the schools to be there in one day. It was a definite safety concern, and it wasn't enjoyable at all. After this last trip, I think it's safe to say we won't be back."
"Gonna be great in a year or so. Most of the exhibits are empty or under construction right now as the zoo undergoes some much needed TLC. Still glad I came, it was a fun experience and a good walk around."
"We went with the family and purchases an annual membership. It is really nice because you don't have to wait in line and you can go in through a side door. The membership also allows us to get discounts and passes to other zoos throughout the United States. It's been a couple years since we have been there, but we really love the upgrades they have done including the huge rocks with water coming out, the huge dog, and general reconstruction of enclosures. It gives it a tropical mystical look. We had a great time and about 90% of the visitors there wear masks. We had a great time!"
"Love it! Can't wait till Covid is over and the rest of available."
"What a joy! Early morning visit allowed us to interact with the trainers at feeding time. Favorite was being able to look into the awesome eyes of Norman (6 yr old male lion) as he sat a few feet away - watching his trainer cleaning the exhibition windows..."
