"I am so incredibly impressed with this office. The whole staff, from the front desk, to the nurses and the doctor were so kind. The doctor, Dr. Rey was so thorough. Didn’t rush, and was super attentive. I don’t regret coming here!"
"I am a care taker and leaving this review on behalf of the patient and his family. We moved from out of state and this patient had been on pain medication for over 40 years. The first thing we were told is “ unless you have had back surgery or cancer we don’t prescribe opiates”. This patient had many health problems, he was seeing a urologist who wanted him on higher pain medication but didn’t want to interfere with pain management decisions on pain medication. I was with him at each pain management appointment and was absolutely disgusted at the way the nurses and nurse practitioners REFUSED to address his pain. Each appointment he would make them well aware of his pain and each time a nurse would say “ if you don’t have cancer or haven’t had back surgery we can’t do anything for you”. Again this is a person who had been on pain medication for over 40 years. Home health nurses who cared for him at home called the pain clinic to tell them how much pain he was in and we got one phone call back saying “ there’s nothing more we can do”. I felt sick after leaving this pain center knowing this patient was in terrible pain, He would wake up screaming in pain . About 3 months after going to the pain center He was Diagnosed with Stage 4 bladder cancer and a bowel obstruction during an ER visit. thankfully we found another doctor to address his pain for the last months of his life!! Anyone around him who knew him knew he was suffering yet the staff at this clinic failed to address his pain. He suffered for months because they didn’t take him, or his care team seriously. Do NOT trust these doctors if you have severe pain. I watched this man SUFFER due to their inability to understand and treat pain, his quality of life decreased by 100 percent during the time this clinic refused to manage his pain at a therapeutic level. If someone is in pain it needs to be addressed. Watching someone suffer in pain is hard enough, I can’t imagine how he felt being in that much pain. Unfortunately he did have Cancer, but didn’t have the diagnosis so they didn’t believe his pain was real. I work in healthcare and have accompanied many patients to appointments and I have never heard a nurse or doctor say “ if you don’t have cancer or have had back surgery we won’t treat your pain with opiates “."
"Why even make an appointment when they’re not even ready for you. Been waiting for an hour and still nothing, and that’s that my appointment is at 830am. How can you be over 1hr and 20min so far and no one says anything, just sit in a room and nothing. The shot works but the customer communication is sub-standard."
"I’ve been a patient here for quite some time now but recently I’ve begun to question whether I want to remain a patient. I was scheduled for an appointment to have a procedure done, showed up to my appointment early to do any necessary paperwork and waited. I was placed in a room to wait for the provider and waited…..and waited….and waited. After an hour I gave up. The front desk said the provider was still with another patient and I should just keep waiting. No one even came into the room and said it would be a bit longer or anything. This has been an ongoing issue at this clinic. They overbook and expect patients to just deal with it. Seems to me that they are more concerned with quantity of patients instead of quality of care. I recommend to anyone looking for a pain care clinic to not book at this particular location. Maybe things are better at their other locations but I wouldn’t know."
