"This place is terrible,cops lie to send you there and they lie on your labs to keep you there just for the insurance money. I have not touched alcohol in over 14 years yet they put 3.0 on it to cover their bad treatments and injury fall due to their poor care of a wheelchair person. Terrible corrupt place. I left shaky, and my heart rate going up. I will need therapy to recover from my experience at this place. They keep you drugged, and ask you the same 3 questions every day (their treatment) if you are perfectly fine you will leave mentally messed up. Wouldn’t wish this on anyone."

"My son was here and we were not happy with their services. Nurses were rude and not helpful when you want to convey something of importance. They don't give an expected date of release and it seems that they have the authority to keep extending patients based on their doctors assessments, which my son reports were daily for 15 seconds long. My son reports that after they administered him some medication he reported to them that he was feeling strangely and then he went lethargic and he got hurt under their care and they had to transport him to UMC. They claimed they called me yet I had no calls or messages from them. I only found out because I called to ask for him since I hadn't heard from him. He was released from UMC and UBH said he was now released from their care, so they did not allow him to receive discharge medications from them to keep him on until he sees his primary doctor. They really care about their patients by leaving them without proper medications. When I went to pick up his belongings they didn't return 2 packs of cigarettes that I had dropped off the day before. The nurse Karen said they weren't responsible for their belongings, yet they don't give the patients the cigarette packs, they monitor the amount they get and they are kept at the nurses station, so her response to the missing cigarettes was call the advocate. The system is so broken it's pathetic and even more pathetic that the people that work there have no empathy and really seem like they don't care about the patient or their families. Be very careful taking your children here."

"I honestly had a pretty good experience here in inpatient and outpatient, I made a lot of friends there and it actually helped me since the group i was in were supportive. the techs in the adolescents Group are so kind and sweet. And I'd like to say that the therapist (I don't remember her name) helped me with my situation and I'd love to thank her for that."

"I came here voluntarily because I needed help but honestly I came out feeling the same. Everyday we will see a different doctor which I seen 3 different ones while I stayed there. I didn't like it because I had a tech scream at me for no reason so i was upset for that same reason and unfortunately it took 2 days for me to be able to speak to the nursing advocate and then I also spoke to the manager because I am not gonna get screamed at when i didn't do anything wrong. Not 1 day while I stayed there did I talk to a therapist because as far as I know they didn't even offer any of us solo therapy in the adult unit except for therapy as a group so that's upsetting because I needed someone to talk to but i didn't feel comfortable talking to the doctors after one of them made me feel forced to talk to them. Some workers here will spend time on their phone when us patients needed help with something so that's another complaint I had because to them their phone was more important than us patients."
