"Life sucks, especially if you have inconsiderate neighbors who are aggravating your medical conditions and now having to take more meds and even seeing mental health because of it. And one of them claims to be a veteran with PTSD! How's that supposed to be OK for a veteran to maltreat another fellow veteran to the point where it's affecting one's health?! The world is trash because it has people in it who are trash, who do nothing but trash. Anyway, this CBOC is doing a satisfactory job treating my issues, especially the ones that I currently have. It's still hard when there's things that just can't be ignored, and I'm still trying to tweak my medication to circumvent them."
"do they give me a ID card there if i dont have one there at clinic"
"Heavy turnover of providers, wish the VA could do a better job of taking care of the people who take care of their veterans. Staff, especially front desk staff and some of the nursing, all of the audiology, lab and vision staff are truly exceptional. They're consistently going above and beyond to solve the problems myself and other veterans bring to them."
"Terrible. Spent 4 hours being passed around on the phone. Ended up having to drive up to the NE office and walk in just to schedule a simple swab test. Got there and asked for a swab test and they told me rudely I "shouldn't be in there with symptoms". I explained to them I've spent all morning and some of the afternoon trying to get this scheduled and they come back with "well our phones haven't been ringing." While I am literally standing there with my phone on speaker on hold. Turns out if I wouldnt have shown up in person I would have missed their testing timeslots for that day and would not have had anything to show my work for taking the day off. The procedure for covid tests at this VA are just to defer you from taking the test. They will make it as hard as possible so you will give up and them not have to deal with you. Very disappointed and extremely frustrated."
"It would be really nice to be able to contact my assigned clinic directly without having to go see them in person. The automated line that's listed does not connect you directly to the NE clinic."
