"I'm only expressing my thoughts and feelings based on personal experience. I've been going to this clinic for a couple of years now. As far as medical care goes, I've been seen mainly if not ONLY by nurse practitioners and the visits have been OK, nothing exceptional or bad. My frustration is with administration, they lack what I call basic decent human kindness/courtesy, but HEY its ok! They may be having a bad day, but now I'm having a bad day! So here we are! ... For whatever this review is worth, if not just to vent my own frustrations, please send in a few decoys so you can hear/see first hand how your patients are being received at your business, and do it periodically to make sure everyone is following protocol, call in to hear how a patient is "assisted" via phone call, good luck getting someone to answer too... Ok! Now its feels like a lot but really my biggest issue is when it comes to referral authorizations. I was seen by a nurse practitioner during the first week of the month, and was given 3 referral authorizations for specialty doctors, I called the specialty Dr's. to book the appts on the 18th and they don't have any authorization submitted, I get instructed to call the my clinic. I call my clinic they tell me to call the VA, I'm given NO number and I'm told to google it. I call the VA and they tell me they have not received any documents from my dr/clinic. At that point I'm reluctant to call my clinic and have to deal with either Samira or Penny ( not exact names, but close enough). Here is a suggestion on how to answer the phone for a professional practicing business..."Good Morning! United Medical Clinic, this is Penny speaking how may I assist/ or who do I have the pleasure of speaking with?" ... "Thank you, and to better assist you, may I have you DOB please? ... Yes I'm happy to book an appointment for you...tarararara...you are all set, thank you for calling, have a nice day!" Anyways, that is probably asking for too much, call me a dreamer, but if feels like you are calling someone who is being bothered by your call, and so I requested from the VA today to switch me back to VA care... I'd much rather write a 5 star review, whenever any location provides great service I love to refer more business and give positive feedback. Its a shame I was not given that opportunity here."
"I highly recommend this clinic as your primary care physician provider!! Doctor Borrego makes you feel at home, he does his job with a passion!! Great and attentive staff!"
"Don't waste your time there, terrible customer service they never have your information correct. After you had just gave it to them.. You won't feel comfortable in that place. The nurse couldn't draw blood. So we had to go to a blood lab. The have 3 office's. Thats right you morons, it was my mom. I rest my case..."
"Worst experience and treatment ever by staff! Left us on " ignore" with my autistic sons psyche meds & lied about it! Filing complaints all the way to the heavens on this clinic. Called superior & NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE!"
