Arbor House Suites

"The Arbor House Suites are charming historical houses. For their age they are in good condition. The decoration were nice for the style of the suite. The bed was comfy, also the big walk out balcony was a nice view to the town. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay. Very Quiet to. Not like a hotel with loud noise. "Loved our stay here at Arbor House. We only stayed one night but this was a perfect spot for us. Our room was very cozy, the porch was large and beautiful. Walking distance to many restaurants. The staff was also very welcoming and friendly!"

"The Arbor House Suites are charming historical houses. For their age they are in good condition it appears. The decoration in our suite was suitable for the style of the rest of the suite. The bed was comfy, but the light that shined through the window above the entry door (transom window) allowed a huge amount of light to shine directly on our bed throughout the night. This made sleeping challenging. The only suite I was in is the suite my husband and I stayed in for several days. I loved the quietness, the age of the buildings, the garden, and the people working therein. However, I do believe calling it a bed and breakfast is a stretch. Each morning, there was a basket delivered outside our door (nice, so far) containing a couple of cold, mass produced huge "muffins" wrapped in plastic wrap, a couple of cold, poor quality bagels wrapped in plastic wrap, a couple of small cans of juice, mixed fruit in glass dishes, poor quality jam, a couple of pats of butter, and a couple of plastic glasses for the juice. There was nothing charming about the "continental breakfast" except the basket and the cloth napkins. I ate nothing contained in the basket as I was able to smell the preservatives in the bread products which left me without an appetite. My husband ate a muffin one day and a raisin bagel the next. He agreed he'd forego the "breakfast" in the future. So, if you like old charming old homes as we do, Arbor House is lovely, but don't expect quality food."

"Loved our stay. Staff is very friendly & accommodating. The rooms are decorated so cool. We had an upstairs unit with a very large terrific porch .To get to the porch just lift the floor to ceiling window and walk out! The continental breakfast was delivered in a picnic basket each morning to our door . The property cat JuJu is very friendly .We met the owner...very nice gentleman. We will definitely stay here again when we visit San Antonio .We would probably ask for a downstairs room just because they are bigger . Maggie & Al"

"Our stay was excellent! The rooms were beautifully furnished and the bed was very comfortable. We were provided with a beautiful basket on our doorstep in the morning full of yummy breakfast foods and that was delightful. We were also greeted by both the manager and the owner and both were incredibly helpful and kind. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful. It felt very personalized and it was a wonderful and relaxing experience! We'll definitely be back!"
