"I gave birth at Valley Baptist and had a wonderful experience. During surgery the medical team made me feel safe and provided a friendly and peaceful environment. Postpartum, all the nurses were amazing, providing me with the best medical attention and education regarding my post op care and new born 101. All the postpartum nurses were very nice and caring. A special thanks to Amanda and Dora for being so sweet, patient and comforting with me and my baby. Also, the lactation consultants Sammy Jo and Claudia are attentive and knowledgable thank you for teaching me how to breastfeed. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. Thank you Valley Baptist Medical Center for a great experience."

"I will NEVER recommend this hospital to anyone. My whole story about my labor and delivery experience is too long to put here, but to summarize: long check in process while in active labor, rooms not ready, filthy lights and ceilings. Zero pain management, constantly taking baby out of the room for hours. No explanation, call lights ignored. Husband had to run to nurse's station to get care for me. No one made sure we knew what we were doing, no support or help to any degree. Only neglect from all nursing staff. Archaic policies that need updating desperately. No chair for support person to sleep in. I feel so violated and lied to. Would have been safer and better cared for giving birth in Walmart. Literally go anywhere else. Stay home, go to a department store, just DO NOT come here for labor and delivery. Or really anything else I feel like."

"Sonia from pediatrics has been one of the greatest nurses I’ve met. She made sure my daughter and I stayed comfortable the whole week we stayed there. She went above and beyond for us. Daniel was also a major help for us. Both are great nurses and I was happy with my experience at Valley Baptist."
