"How the hell can you run a Hospital without WiFi, you all dont charge any less than any other Hospital, Family members can't even check up on loves ones patients cuz there's no service.. Come on your going to tell me that Hospital can't afford it, I was told that WiFi was only for administration.Lmao ."

"They should really have negative stars for this hospital. I went there with severe kidney pain and was rolling in the floor and crying due to pain and the nurse there seemed to have no empathy. There was also an elderly lady with a cut and they had her waiting. When I asked the nurse to at least give me something for pain, she rolled her eyes which insinuated she thought I was being dramatic. This hospital should just be closed. People near the area of Rio grande choose to go there because it is the closest, but probably don’t expect to wait hours to be seen. I waited an hour before I decided to leave because it didn’t seem I was going to be tended to at any time. If I would have known this hospital was SO BAD, I would have made the drive to Mission since the very beginning. Mission hospital took less than the hour Rio Grande hospital had me waiting to complete all my tests and give me results. People like that (I wish I would’ve gotten her name but I was in severe pain, but the date was sept 29) should not be privileged to be called nurse. A true nurse could be found in Mission Hospital, not that poor excuse of a human that works there."

"Horrible experience , don't go there if your having a miscarriage. Nurses and doctors don't know where they leave their instruments to be able to check you. Can't even go back for concerns of bleeding and pain because all you hear is the doctor complaining as to why you went back there! Front clerk was rude to my husband rolling her eyes at him while looking for me at the er when he gave out my name to her! "Oh she was the one who was here this morning" rolled her eyes and walked away giving no information as to where I was after having a D&C! Any concerns of health issues I recommend you going else where , where they won't talk behind your back making you feel awful for any concerns you may have because it isnt enough to throw you to the OR!"

From the day that we entered the ER, to the day my mom was released, everyone performed their job with sincerity, compassion, and a level of professionalism that was much appreciated. To Dr. Paris and Dr. Garza, RN Corando, RN Sevi, all nurses, custodial, and cafeteria staff; THANK YOU for giving my mom the level of care that you would give your own family and working so diligently to bring her back to a state of health so that she may return home to her family. "If you are able to get to Mission/McAllen safely it is worth the 50 minute drive to find another hospital. You will end up waiting that much - plus four or five hours give or take. I heard from others in the waiting room that long wait times are typical here. Staff is incredibly overworked"
