"Took my grandfather in due to his kidneys being in bad shape. We were told there was nothing left to do but to go home and keep him comfortable until it was time. Took the 2.5-hour trip to San Antonio for a second opinion. The hospital in San Antonio treated him for a week. 3 weeks later my grandfather is in healthy condition and his kidneys are quite responsive. This "HOSPITAL" will let you die for their lack of knowledge or lack of interest. what is going on Val Verde?"

"We waited 8hrs in the emergency room! This is ridiculous, people would literally walked out to go to SA hospital instead! It would’ve been faster to drive to SA and come back than wait here in this emergency room, worst experience of my life!"

"Woman at the front desk of the main lobby has a bad attitude and wasn't willing to help me locate my sister who came into ER the night before. The security guard was the one who called the right floor to confirm, and even escorted me up to the floor. He even apologized in behalf of this woman's demeanor even though it wasn't his fault. She kept saying "we don't have anyone here by that name." She didn't even bother to contact ER or the Nurses' Station to confirm based on the description I gave. ALL medical staff there need to be replaced. They lack professionalism, empathy, and basic human kindness-which is of prime importance and should be standard in caring for human beings. Keep the security guards though - they actually go above and beyond."

"Greedy money hungry and unprofessional. Paid collectively $500 in cash the day of for appointment and X-rays no other payment or charges mentioned, then I get a charge for about $20 in the mail I call to dispute it and then they turn around and send me another one for $73.40. Would not use again would advise if you can to go somewhere else."

"While I’m not the biggest fan of the ER, I do believe the director Judith Morales is amazing & an extremely caring & compassionate nurse & person. Balde Briones, director of Rehab care center is so amazing as well. I would give 5 stars to those two!"
