Cambria Hotel Austin Airport

"The room next door was making a lot of noise at 12 am and I called the front desk to complain and the lady gave me an attitude. She wanted me to go next door and tell them to be quiet like it was my job to do. Also this hotel has a lot of noise because it’s next to the free way. If you want to sleep good then DONT stay here :)"

"Family of 3, our experience this far has been nothing but great, the staff are friendly & greet you as you come back from outings which is nice, Our room was clean we had nothing missing as far as things in the rooms such as coffee shampoo, water etc The room had no smell nor did the entire hall and areas we go thru to get to the lobby. The beds are comfy and the pillows are super plush, 1st night has been great ."

"First of all the room was dirty. They didn’t even had toilet paper. We asked for toilet paper and they sent us tissues because they couldn’t find toilet paper!! They are understaffed, in the front desk there was a bunch of people mad because there rooms where dirty as well, the poor lady on the front desk was all alone, pregnant and having a very hard time dealing with all of us, wich of course we are mad!! In the valet parking we waited for more than 40 minutes because it turns out there is just 2 people trying to make the hotel work, including the valet just two people for the whole hotel!! They didn’t clean our room and the whole hotel smells like drainage. Floor 7 smells also like pot. Very upsetting. Very bad service, definitely do not recommend! This is for the cambria austin downtown"

"They have cockroaches. I saw one in my room in the morning. I also saw a dead cockroach on the floor of the bar/dining area and the waitress had no clue it was there. It made me question when the last time the floors had been swept and mopped and question the overall cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was lackadaisical about it which I didn’t like. I got a full refund and went to another hotel in the area. The location is decent because it’s near the airport and not far from downtown Austin. Although the esthetic is nice don’t let it fool you they are dealing with a cockroach problem and are not cleaning up properly."

"This hotel appears to be fairly new and the decor is a modern twist on Western. Our room was large, clean and all fixtures were new and tasteful. I especially liked the luxury vinyl flooring, which looks chic and is a lot more sanitary than raunchy old carpet that you find 99% of other hotels. Our bed a pillows were both very comfortable and the room was quiet. No noise from the plane at airport, nor the adjacent freeway. The HVAC system was more quiet than the majority of other hotels."
