"The hotel appears decently clean. I came here primarily to bring my family to swim and stay the night,,, unfortunately the pool and the hot tub are ice cold. My daughter is disappointed cause it's hard to find a location to swim during the winter time. The clerk did inform me that the pool was not heated. But the hot tub? The timer didn't work. Oh well don't stay her for that amenity."

"It was a really good stay here, our room was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was good, I love the waffles. I would recommend this place. The only thing I was thinking that in the room if they had a coat rack it would have been nice to hang my formal dresses. The closest space didn't have a large enough rack."

"I booked on Wyndham site and found out when I arrived that I was overcharged by $142. Despite several promises from the GM Brandi, they are now refusing to refund my overpayment. In my opinion, this hotel management and franchise owner are dishonest and my family will never stay at this hotel again. Prior to this stay, my family and I had booked several rooms each Thanksgiving for the last several years. No more. Additionally, the rooms need upgrading; carpet is worn and dirty and unless you upgrade to a suite, the bathrooms are old, worn out and spartan."

"We’ve been staying at this La Quinta off and on for the last 10 years while visiting family. The staff are outstanding but the quality of the furnishings is below a 1. The couch and chairs have no support, staff were able to change out the couch cushions with little improvement in ability to use it. We had a 2 room suite and there was no TV in the bedroom, making it difficult to get comfortable in the evening. King bed was uncomfortable and no real blankets. Large breakfast crowd with the workers but staff did their best to keep up. Very disappointed in room quality. Pool was not very clean, hot tub inoperable. Need to invest in furnishings."

"I would first off like to say from the outside it looks pretty decent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We checked in everything was seamless until we walked into the room. It was dark even with all of the lights on. Not even 5 minutes in we see a cockroach crawling on the fridge. To our utter horror we open our pizza box where we also find little bugs crawling out of it from every direction. We also noticed stains on our sheets and towels. Keep in mind you are already compromising on the location from San Antonio which is about a 30-40 minute drive. (The River Walk & Decent Restaurants) The hot tub was also not working. Honestly my worst experience at a hotel. Won’t be back! This is not up to La Quinta standard!"
