"My wife and I have been patients of ARC Far West since they opened. This medical facility boasts how they provide superior medical service. On March 1, 2024, my wife took a nap and woke up with a 102.4 degree temperature. Of course my first response is to call ARC, because they claim after hours service up to 9pm on Fridays. When I called, at 7:45pm, no one came on line until almost 8:30pm. I explained my wife’s condition, and the nurse on the other end said she could not fit us in because they close at 9pm. I explained her condition, plus I was on hold for 45 minutes, and she just said sorry. So here is my question, where is this superior medical service to patients? Like many other services these days, ARC Far West attention to patients is now in the toilet. I will never depend on them again. Also to further illustrate ARC’s lack of personal care, if you read all their responses to their poor reviews and complaints, they are the same canned computer generated response. Again, no personal attention whatsoever and any hint of understanding these are real people with real scary problems. No real care anymore for their patients.i recommend you go elsewhere."
"Took me 4 months to get an appt and got lost navigating the 5 buildings that all say ARC on it. Got in barely 10 min late and the receptionist checked me in and told me to have a seat to wait for the doctor. Only for 5 min later to be told they have just cancelled my appt because I was late and the earliest they can reschedule me is 3 more months out. Despite there being 5 receptionists sitting there, not one bothered to call 5 min into the appt as a warning which could have helped me navigate sooner. I’ve also never heard of an appt being cancelled for anything less than 15 minutes. Oh but the receptionist did tell me I could wait till the end of the day for some other poor soul who is late by 5 min to take their appt. I just called up Ascension and sent my referral there who could get me within the month."
"Please DO NOT come here for acute/serious medical issue, almost TAKE A LIFE AWAY. My husband saw Dr. Paul Cauvin, who misdiagnosed him with flu/covid (viral infection) without ordering proper bloodwork after days of fevers. He ended up having sepsis (a life-threatening disease) and needed emergency IV antibiotic treatment at the ER. Not trying to disrespect the doctor, but he should have take his time to at least order some labs to rule serious things out, to save my husband on-time. Best advise for future patients-if you think yourself or your family is really needing medical help, ARC is the NOT level of care for you. Please go to ER or somewhere else BETTER to prevent delayed on treatment."
"I was told I needed to have a referral to see a doctor that I had already seen on referral? They told me because I hadn't seen him in a year, I needed a new referral. They want you to see another doctor and get billed so you can schedule with the original doctor. Any wonder why health care cost so much? Make two appointments and get billed for two doctors when you only needed to see one."
"I’ve been to three different doctors appointments at different locations over 2 years for three separate problems and they didn’t treat one of them. Went for digestive problems. Doctor said he was going to order blood tests I told him I already had done before and were negative. He ordered them anyway and then goes, “good news they came back negative you’re healthy”. Still have the problem. Went for a mass growing on my abdomen, doctor examined for 15 seconds and goes, can’t say for sure exactly what it is, just keep an eye on it. Still have it and still don’t know what it is. Went for chronic back I tried to treat myself for a year with pain that keeps me from sleeping. Doctor ordered an X-ray then says it came back normal, just do some stretches. It’s only gotten worse. I paid a few thousand dollars for health insurance over this period just for peace of mind so I could have problems like these treated and it was a huge waste of money. Now I don’t have coverage so can’t find a new doctor. If I were you, I would find a smaller practice that will actually try to help you."
