"Worst emergency room. Waited 6+ hours after my boyfriend was in a fatal car accident that totaled our car. Waited 4 hours for AN XRAY! And then another 2 just for him to get seen again. Don’t come here. Update now we’re still waiting for a room! Wow absolutely horrible."
"I'm disappointed to even have to write this review. I had surgery here and ended up with an IV infiltration injury that I'm still trying to deal with & figure out the extent of what's going on. However, my biggest issue right now is with the billing department. My account balance has been paid in full since October and my account still has not been cleared. They temporarily sent my account to collections even though they showed they had the check and it was processing since the beginning of November. I was told the payment was located and it could take up to 30 days after the check was found to process it to my account. It is now February and there are still no updates. It seems paying them online through the payment plan was a better option as there were no problems when I was making small monthly payments. After the almost $4K check was sent in to pay off the account, there has been nothing mixed information."
"My father came here to have a kidney stone remove and his experience with the staff was unpleasant. After the surgery he wasn’t supposed to leave until he urinated because he had stent placed after surgery. He was hooked up to a I.V for hours and given water to help this process happen. My dad never had the urge to urinate and was only able to very little. My dad is diabetic and expressed that many times and the nurses continued to push soda and juice . They seemed very impatient and that they needed to get him out even though most the floor was completely empty. They checked his bladder and turned out their was no fluid in there and the nurse even made a comment that she had no clue where his urine went. I mentioned to her that maybe he was dehydrated and she said he definitely wasn’t and she’d had to insert a catheter to get out the little bit in his bladder so he could leave , thank God we refused this procedure because it would be so painful for him to go home this way during the holidays after all he had been through. The nurse decided to no longer treat him because she insisted she put a catheter and that this is something they always do to all their patients. Luckily a new more experienced nurse came in listened to everything going on the last few hours and determined he was indeed dehydrated and got him with and saline I.V and a cup coffee (didn’t push sugar because of the diabetes) and got him to finally urinate in less then 30 min.and we were finally able to leave. The nurses there made us feel very uncomfortable and like they didn’t know what they were doing. Thank God the last nurse came in she was very kind a knowledgeable and avoided a unnecessary painful procedure . The experience here is bad and definitely do not recommend this hospital since the moment we walked in people at the desk wouldn’t help us and when we got confused started laughing at us. Very bad service."
"The medical staff was fantastic. I felt like the process here was one of the smoothest surgical experiences. It was my son they had to care for we were transferred from another emergency room about a little over 1hr away. Thank you for the kind and supportive care, it really goes a long way when you can genuinely care for your patients. I also wanted to thank the security team that worked the emergency entrance. They were great with their politeness and respect for my father with their conversation. He is a Vietnam vet. Definitely recommended"
"Was called a few days before my visit for an MRI. We scheduled it for early in the morning and I didn't ask enough questions, like where does one park. This is important because it's dark and I'm pretty sure you won't know the area any better then I did. The lady on the phone said the MRI was a follow up from my doctor to make sure my tonsil cancel wasn't coming back. When I arrived I was told the MRI was going to be for my Prostrate cancer. I just had an MRI done a few weeks ago for that and said as much to the tech but she assured me it was for my prostrate. Really not sure what happen there as I have not spoken to my doctor. Other then that, check in was pretty easy. Went to the information desk and the lady pulled me up on the system right away, gave me an wrist band and paper work and gave me instructions where to go. The MRI wasn't any different then anyplace else. The tech asked me if I wanted a blanket. I said yes because it can sometimes be cold inside the MRI unit. Don't know why she asked me if I wanted a blanket because she never gave me one ..;)"
