La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Antonio Seaworld/LAFB

"Although the location was good, this hotel rates low quality for the price. Some of the staff are very rude and they do not show interest in making your stay comfortable. There was an older lady who was very surly and mean. The so-called breakfast was minimal at best, and the cook was too busy running outside to take her waiting husband food to his truck while he waited in the parking lot. Although the hotel was clean, they are feeding wild animals' food out of the back door. I literally saw a fox out there, and someone has placed pet bowls full of food for them to eat around the perimeter. I was there for my grandsons BMT graduation, as were many guests, and the older lady was very mean when I asked for a late check out because I was not sure if graduation was going to run over. She stated, "You better be back by 12, or I will charge you." Not in a kind way either. Back to the breakfast, eggs that were clearly overcooked. No meat options other than pork sausage, packets of dry oatmeal not even fresh made. Very stale mini muffins. They had 2 elevators, but only 1 was in working order. The pool was unkempt. It's not worth the price here at this hotel"

"BY FAR, the BEST Inn & Suite we've EVER been in! The remodeled rooms were a great comfort. The large room, bathroom, and bed were a blessing! My wife and I were so pleased that the rooms and Inn are SMOKE FREE! We can't stand it when we arrive at other hotel/motels and they wreak of stale rancid cigarette smoke. IT'S DISGUSTING! The La Quinta Inn was a pleasure to ALL our senses! Thank you Wyndam from the Orosco family from Selma, CA. Look forward to other LA Quinta Inn experiences when we travel! One other awesome thing. The full continental breakfast was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!"

"Wonderful hotel experience very much ruined by very rude night desk associate. When asked for help with a simple request, the night desk associate made it clear that they would not and could not help in any way shape or from with short answer, no eye contact, acting like “please do not bother me” Very rude and uncomfortable situation the desk associate placed me in… Hotel was nice, clean, rooms very nice and clean…everything was great except this experience. Even after all that the extremely rude night desk associate would not even acknowledge me with a hello or goodbye when entering the lobby of the establishment for the rest of my stay. He just stood there acting as I was a nobody just staying there 3 night’s helping pay his salary. Extremely disappointed and would never recommend this hotel to anyone ⭐️⭐️max if that…"

"This is the only hotel I've ever stayed at that did not take cash at all. They held a 50.00 deposit for any charges you might get like snacks and things but when ask to charge it to your room they don't do that. You must pay for your room with a card. No cash payment. The lady at the desk and the manager the next morning was RUDE. I'll sleep in the car before I ever stay there again. We stay at La Quinta alot but never stayed at one that really didn't care if you stayed or not. Very unhappy with this place."

"I travel for work every week and I stay at Wyndham hotels almost every week, to the point that I am a diamond member. I booked a room with my points first time after two years. I got to the hotel at 2:00 am after long day at work. When I got there I was told that can’t check in because the reservation was made after midnight and I can not use my points. He told me that he is going to cancel and have to charge me. You would think he would have a courtesy of let me check in earlier. I even told him that I will be leaving in the morning and I can leave a deposit. But it didn’t matter to him. Very disappointed"
